We are a lesbian couple, and my wife is 15 weeks pregnant. Planning for a hospital birth in Manhattan. I am the non-gestational parent and I am inducing lactation and looking for support in both the prenatal and postpartum nursing and birth process. We are hoping to find someone covered by Aetna, and who can work with inducing lactation.

I am 7.5 months post partum and my milk supply has dropped significantly. I have been exclusively breast feeding. I really need help understanding what could be going on.

We are having our first child and can appreciate any help and guidance to help us enter this new phase of our lives! Prefers someone who has 5+ years of experience, has referrals they can share, offers feeding, lactation support, help with cleaning and meal prepping. Budget is $1000-$5000 for about one month of support to start

Prefer experience with Velamentous Cord Insertion (VCI) and advanced maternal age. Also prefer Doula who accepts medicaid (Jefferson Health Plans) but not a requirement. Thank you!

I also didn't receive much guidance at the hospital where I delivered, so I'd like to speak with someone to gain as much knowledge ahead of time as possible.
