We are still near the beginning of the process (15 weeks) and still have a lot to decide about our birthing plan. We certainly plan to give birth at the hospital and are mostly aligned with what the doctors recommend generally speaking. No maximum budget in mind for the right match.

I'm planning to give birth in the hospital. I have medicaid insurance in hoping to use to cover services. I don't really have a birth plan.

I plan on giving birth at Tri Health North Bethesda or good Samaritan these are the hospitals that I already go to for appointments and they are the closest to my house . I do not yet have a birth plan completely yet I’m still trying to research and figure out some things I read Doula‘s help out with that as well. And I have anthem Blue Cross Medicaid insurance and I would like to find a Doula that would take my insurance

Looking for someone who takes care source, I am on my 5th baby after 8 miscarriages finally been carrying this one an have high hope for a peacefully delivery, I would plan on going to wayne hospital to give birth would really like to try a water birth as I've always wanted to do it but have been scared

Hello I’m the future grandma- my daughter is 21 & she just found out she’s having a baby. We as a family: my ex husband who is great, her brother and myself are all on board to make this amazing for her. She is interested in a Doula & we are in gather mode. She is covered by Dads insurance/formally GEHA now I’m not sure what it’s called. We do have TriHealth docstors. We all live close by each other in Cheviot and myself in Dent. Thank you for any help. I’m 21 and found out I was pregnant at the end of March, unexpectedly! At first I was fine with hospital birth, but more and more researching I’m a little unsure. My local hospital that I would be delivering in if chosen, says they offer low intervention birthing suites and support natural labor, but again i’m a little in the dark and am unsure. My mom is very supportive and encouraging of me having a doula and midwife to help advocate and support me but i’d say maybe $500-$2000 range? My ideal birth plan would be natural and following my bodies plan of what it needs to do, waiting to cut cord until white, immediate skin to skin, i would like to breastfeed, and vernix not wiped off immediately, vaccines are okay, and im not sure what else right now exactly. Im 8 weeks on 4/23/26, so still pretty early.

Good Samaritan I have caresource insurance and hope to have the services covered or mostly covered by insurance. I want an unmedicated, natural childbirth. I want no vaccines, vitamin k or eye ointments given to my baby after birth and I want someone that can help me achieve this as per my past two labor experiences the doctors scare me into doing what they say.

My first birth was not a welcoming experience I was being told I had to be induced for hypertension and possible pre eclampsia then when I got to triage I looked fine and was going to go home until I had protein in my urine and was rushed to get a mag drip. I wasn’t explained why I needed it and when I was asking because I felt I wasn’t to that point yet they said I can leave AMA. From there I didn’t have a great experience at first. My practice had an on call dr that wasn’t really reading my chart or didn’t even know anything about me. I felt so out of control and lost. After 24 hours of just lying in bed with no progress begging for food or sleep and everyone telling me I needed to wait I broke down. I was finally at 6cm and they could ramp my induction up. I loved the nursing staff from that point on but I still felt like there was options for me that I wasn’t being given and I tried to advocate for myself and was overwhelmed. When it came to pushing I told them I was ready and to call the dr. They said it might be awhile. After 2 pushes my daughter was almost crowning and they called the doctor but I still wasn’t waiting. I told them to call the midwife and was her head was coming out I was told to wait and I said no and delivered her in 10ish min with the midwife walking in the room. But after that my uterus clamped down and my placenta was adhered to the top of my uterus and the doctor almost had to take me to the OR to get it out. Again I had to advocate for myself while I was unknowingly being pushed full of meds and prepped and said please cane someone else try to manually get it. Finally a dr from another practice was able to get the placenta out. I just would like someone who can help advocate for me and baby and knows my options or can explain them to me. I also want someone that knows me and when I say something takes me seriously. Hospital for delivery is Dublin Methodist.

I'm looking for a doula to support me through labor prep, labor itself, and postpartum with light household help. I have a daughter who will be turning 3 right around my due date, so I really want to make this transition as smooth as possible for all of us. After her birth, I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety, and I’m hoping that with the right support this time — including emotional check-ins and practical help — I can have a healthier, more supported experience. Specifically, I’d love help with: • Preparing for labor (birth plan, comfort measures, partner support) • Labor support (at home and/or hospital, depending on how things go) • Postpartum visits with light duties like meal prep, watching my older child for short stretches, or just being an extra set of hands so I can rest I’m really hoping to find someone who understands the mental health side of the postpartum period and can help me set up a gentle, calm environment from the start.
