would like to schedule an appointment with a lactation consultant as soon as possible. Our baby was born on August 1, 2026. Since being discharged from the hospital, we have been having difficulty with breastfeeding. Our baby is having a hard time latching and feeding effectively at the breast, so we are currently supplementing with infant formula to ensure the baby is getting enough nutrition. Our goal is to transition to exclusive breastfeeding if possible, and we would appreciate guidance on improving latch, feeding techniques, milk transfer, and any other recommendations to help us establish successful breastfeeding.

Hi there, My name is Tara & I was inquiring about your services. This is my first baby & I am in between either c section or being induced. I’d like to inquire about a doula for support & questions. Thank you in advance.
Want to learn how to latch without a nipple shield. Child was born premature and I was told that due to having large breasts the child would not be able to latch without the shield.
I’m 2 weeks postpartum after a full-term pregnancy (40 weeks + 3 days). My baby latches well and has regained their birth weight, but I don’t think they’re getting enough milk from breastfeeding alone. After every nursing session, I need to supplement with formula—about 480 mL (16 oz) per day total. I’m breastfeeding about 8 times a day and pumping with a Medela pump after feeds. I usually pump about 1.5–2 oz after nursing. I’d like help determining whether the issue is low milk supply, ineffective milk transfer, or both. I’d also like a weighted feed to measure how much milk my baby transfers during breastfeeding, an assessment of my baby’s latch and oral function, confirmation that my pump flange size is correct, and a plan to safely increase my milk supply while gradually reducing formula if appropriate.
I’d like to give birth at home but I’m currently in the midst of looking for a new place. Budget I’m unsure of at the moment would be willing to discuss. Birth plan id like to wait to cut the cord, no meds or intervention unless medically necessary, golden hour, and that all currently. Previous experience a must certs a plus. I’m a 23 year old women giving birth for the first time and would like a well experienced person and calm birth experience. I’d like to breast feed and pump so lactation help may be needed
