If you are thinking about a postpartum doula and on the fence about it, hire Bethany! You will not regret it. A year ago I was a first time mom who had zero infant experience and was too busy with work to take any newborn classes. My girlfriend recommended Bethany and after some contemplation I hired her to help me during the first several weeks of my daughter’s life. My intent was to learn from her how to care for my daughter and move on. But this became the best decision not just for my daughter but for me. Bethany showed up every day with abundance of energy and positivity which automatically provided the necessary relief to whatever was going through my head during a sleepless night. She still taught me how to care for my infant - how to change her, how to bathe her, how to hold her, how to rock her (the infinity rock!), how to understand her cues, and so much more, but she also cared for me. She provided the emotional support and care I so needed during the first month of postpartum. Even the simple things like making me breakfast in the morning or bringing me a water when I nursed made such a huge difference. And there were also the big things - she helped me trust my instincts and embrace my new role as a mother. I tell everyone the reason I survived the fourth trimester is because I had Bethany to help me. And even now when I feel like I am drowning due to sleep deprivation, Bethany is always ready to help. I honestly can’t recommend her enough. Just hire her for a day and she will become an integral part of your parenthood journey.

If I could give Bethany 10 stars I would. I admire Her work ethic, her patience, her kindness, and the way she puts any worried mommas mind at ease from the moment she steps into your home to the moment your little one cries when it’s time to for her to leave. As a first time mom, trying to find someone that could take care of your little one and love them the way you do seems impossible- until I met Bethany. She makes you feel like you’ve known her for a lifetime and your little one is always safe when she’s around. Working with Bethany was an all around amazing experience. I just had my second baby and was feeling exhausted, depleted and overwhelmed.
