Looking for a doula to help care for my one month old newborn as well as postpartum recovery for myself (C-section). Interested in someone who is available 7am-noon Monday to Friday (25 hours/week). We live near Dufferin and Rutherford in Thornhill, please let me know if you're interested!
* Overnight newborn care: diapering, soothing, burping, settling and getting baby back to sleep. * Breastfeeding support: bring baby to me only when a feed is needed, then take over immediately afterward. If you pump/use bottles, nanny handles the feeding when possible. * Maximize uninterrupted sleep: structure nights so i am not waking for every diaper change, burp or settling. * Bottle/pump management: wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts, prepare feeds and safely store breast milk/formula. * Newborn sleep habits: gradually establish appropriate day/night differentiation and good sleep routines—not formal sleep training in the newborn stage. * Basic overnight baby tasks: restock changing supplies and keep the feeding/changing area organized. * Experience and safety: infant CPR/first aid, safe-sleep knowledge, newborn experience and strong references.
