I’m moving to Peoria, IL I’m looking for as much information as possible. Where to go for appointments and information about birth etc.

We are extremely new to the whole process, and thus unsure what to expect. We do not have a birth plan, but would like to construct one. We plan for the delivery to take place at Silver Cross Hospital (1900 Silver Cross Blvd, New Lenox, IL 60451). We do not have enough information to provide a proper budget, but I somewhat strained monetarily. I wish we could provide more, but there's very little to go off of.

I plan to give birth at home using a water birth, budget is $100-$1500. Doula should have at least 4 years of experience and an elderly doula would be preferred

I would like a doula who can help educate me on all my options around birth and how to best prepare for that. I'd also like them to be present when I'm giving birth, and potentially post partum care. I'm giving birth at Central Dupage Hospital. I learned today that my insurance plan covers doulas that are in-network, so ideally they would be in-network with BCBSIL. I don't know my birth plan, I would like help figuring that out.

I am currently planning to give birth at cdh. I’m not sure what an appropriate budget for a doula is so I guess I’m interested in rates. I plan to give birth at the Evanston NorthShore Labor/Delivery Hospital. I am on Medicaid but I wouldn’t want to spend more than 300$ out of pocket. I want to birth as natural as possible, I wouldn’t want an epidural unless it really comes down to it. I would want to avoid any cutting or tearing in my vagina. I’d like to push out naturally rather than get a C- section.
