Bonnie Ledford
About me
In Hebrew, "Qavah" means to wait, hope, and expect. That’s my primary intention alongside the families I serve. I support parents through pregnancy, birth, and those intense, beautiful early weeks postpartum. I'm all about safe, evidence-based care that respects your choices and honors your unique birth journey. I'm here to listen, support, and care for you every step of the way. I've spent over 25 years in women's health, community health, and hospice care. Practicing midwifery has been my lifelong dream. My true passion is partnering with women throughout their entire health journey. After years of working within the hospital system, I chose to return birth to its natural setting: the home. I believe that birth is not a crisis to be managed, but a powerful, transformative experience that deserves time, trust, and tenderness. When I'm not supporting growing families, I'm usually outdoors exploring, whether it be traveling to a new place, hiking a trail, skiing a powdery slope, or out on the water kayaking. At home, you can find me looking up new recipes, baking, or drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying a good conversation.

Ratings and reviews
Our family is so thankful for Bonnie! I felt very safe and supported with Bonnie's calm demeanor and wealth of knowledge . Although this was my 6th child, it was our first home birth. I only wish that Bonnie had been a resource for the prevous births. I cannot speak highly enough of her!

Bonnie has made this the most comfortable birthing experience I've had. Her personalized care, calm demeanor, and medical expertise have helped me feel supported, informed, and confident every step of the way. I'm so grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to any growing family.
