Hi!! Welcome! Brandi Kiesling here! I know how overwhelming it can be as a first-time parent, especially with a new life in the house!! I'm here to say, "I gotchu!" Helping out with newborn care, diaper changes, bottle or body feeding assistance, light housekeeping, baby laundry, full overnight baby care so you and your partner getting the eight hour sleep you deserve (my fave), emotional support, meal prep and resource guidance. I follow Dr. Harvey Karp, world reknowned pediatrcian to the stars and follow the 5 S's. Soothe, Swaddle, Side-Stomach position, Shush, Swing and Suck. Continuing the nine-month environment your baby has been acclimated to, continues outside the womb the first three months of birth.

What to expect

Coming in overnight so you can sleep is my specialty. Whether you want to nurse or bottle feed, sleep or burp the baby, it’s entirely up to you. Otherwise, I help with baby laundry (wash & fold), feedings, light cleaning, and my other specialty is just listening. Sometimes having family members in to help can be overwhelming. I am very supportive in quiet, peaceful environments and offer support for suggestions you may have. Cloth diaper or ? Sleep schedule or? I am well informed by fact based research and studies. I’m easy going and babies love me.

Brandi was our son’s night nurse for the first week of his life. Exhausted and sore, I arrived home from the hospital with our son and was grateful to have Brandi there to meet us and take care of our baby overnight. She was warm and loving with our baby, took to him easily, and shared helpful observations and advice throughout the week. We slept peacefully each evening knowing she was there!

To know Brandi is to love Brandi. More importantly, your little one will love her too. Brandi was our night doula for our first baby & quickly became part of our family. We were nervous parents who had no idea what expect outside of what books, friends & family could share. Brandi was with us every step of the way. Brandi came over to our home to learn our space and discuss what we wanted for our baby girl arrived. She was completely open to the vision of our baby’s sleeping and eating routine & had very helpful suggestions when prompted. The nights Brandi was at our home we slept the most and counted down the days before her return. Frequently asked questions

Can you come for one night?

Yes and No. As much as I’d love to support for one night, ideally, my job as a doula is to understand the needs of parents and babies. You cannot catch up on sleep in one night. 🤗 However, I will come in for emergency and backup purposes only.

What if I don't want to nurse? It hurts too much to breastfeed.

If you don't want to nurse, we will bottle feed. I understand the time and effort it takes to breastfeed the baby. I breastfed my son for a full year. It was challenging and painful in the beginning, but we succeeded. However, my daughter not so much. After five months, she didn't want to be nursed anymore, so the bottle we went. Sometimes new moms even after the challenges continues the desire to nurse, I will be there to offer suggestions/pointers and be your biggest cheerleader until we get that latch.

Do you take insurance?

Insurance is something our industry has been needing to help with when it comes to maternity leave adding a doula to the mix. There is so much paperwork getting insurance to cover postpartum doula services that when I have tried, it fails me to no end. Might I add loopholes as well. I know there are some that accept insurances, but the quality of what I do and what insurances will cover, there are differences.
