33weeks with 4th baby. Considering having a home birth and wanting more information. My last child was an accidental home birth and gave birth 2 weeks early. We want to prepare better if that were the case with this pregnancy so just now considering doing an actual home birth.

I plan to give birth in a birthing center. My birth plan is to have an unmedicated birth

10 weeks along with my first baby. I am hoping for a home birth with someone who is competent, experienced and patient, who can help me with any prenatal care. I also want to find someone who would be open to transferring to the hospital if there were complications. My husband and I would like to take the most natural route possible, but also want to make sure we do whatever is best for baby and me. Since this is our first, we are still learning and open to trying different home birth options.

This is our 2nd baby and we didn't have the best experience in the hospital during our first birth in 2019. Now that I'm pregnant at 40, we're looking for more of a natural experience, with less of the trauma. We have found a doula through this site and are now looking for a midwife to assist with home birthing. We're completely new to this idea, but are very open to it. My medical insurance is through Medi-Cal, specifically Anthem Blue Cross. I've noticed that providers within your company accept it, I'm just not sure to what extent considering this is my first time looking into this option.
