I need help with latching without a nipple shield and widening/deepening my babies latch.

I don’t think I’m producing enough colastrum for my newborn we are having a hard time with feeding.

Would like for guidance on if my baby is latching correctly or not because at night she seems to get fussy and not satisfied after feedings.

I am concerned that my little guy is not getting enough breast milk from me, so I have been pumping after feeds to boost my supply. I have been struggling to find the right flange fit for my breasts. My right and left breasts are different sizes. I am able to get at least an once from my right after feeds and almost nothing from my left. I will hand express the left after pumps and get regular streams, but for some reason I cannot get it out with the pump.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. My estimated budget is about $200-$300. My birth plan is to labor for a bit at home before going to the hospital because I progress quickly. I’d like to labor in a tub, move around, and use a peanut ball to encourage dilation. I’d also like breathing techniques and emotional support and visualization/meditative techniques.

Looking for LC or IBLC that has experience/knowledge with shallow latch Baby is 8 weeks today. Spend first 2 weeks in NICU due to being born 5 weeks early and issues eating (had feeding tube and was bottle fed to monitor amount) baby does latch and wants to but it is genuinely painful and I end up with sore/cracked nipples because guys latch is shallow. I'm exploring my birth options, leaning towards a home birth but also considering the hospital for safety and cost-effectiveness. My budget is a concern, and I'm relying on my insurance to help. More than anything, I want a healthy baby and to save for their future. I'm also focused on preparing my home, especially with my two small dogs, to ensure it's a safe and welcoming environment for the baby.

Horrible latch. She doesn’t open her mouth why she also was born slightly early her latches excruciating so I know she’s on a raw but I still feed through it. I’m not sure if she’s getting enough or how much milk she should be getting. I occasionally bottle feed but very, very rarely. It’s more so to have that help me in the middle of the night. I believe she may have tightness or stiffness. There’s a an actual name for it. I just can’t remember what it is. It starts with a T, but she does show some of those symptoms of life favoring one side over the other being in a slight curve when you lay her straight, but I also don’t know if that’s just because she’s a newborn so I wanted to see if maybe she needed to see PT and chiropractor to see what all we can work on to help with her latch her pediatrician did mention that she may have a slight lip tie, but she wasn’t sure about a tongue tie. She’s also 10 days old.

I plan on giving birth in a hospital due to the fact I have 2 fibroids measuring 1.3 cm and 4.8 cm. If there is a safe way for me to achieve a healthy birth at I would prefer a home water birth instead of a hospital water birth. My budget is around 3 thousand dollars. I'm a first time mom and I'm still coming up with my birthing plan. I currently know I want no medications, and I'm going to incorporate Christian hypnobirthing techniques to help my breathing and anxiety.

Assistance from a certified lactation specialist with latching for our 1 month old baby

I’m pregnant with twins and due August 9th. We live in Columbia, MO. I tried to breastfeed my firstborn, who is now two years old, but it was a nightmare. She would fall asleep instead of feeding, no matter what the lactation consultants or nurses did. I also had several very long sessions where I tried to breastfeed her but I don’t think she was getting milk. She would cry. I had to use nipples guards to help her latch but they would keep falling off. I ended up triple feeding for a while (trying to breast feed, then feeding pumped milk or if I didn’t have enough milk, feeding formula) but it was utterly exhausting. I pumped but I started producing less and less milk. I got mastitis and then shortly after my milk stopped producing. I want to try to breastfeed the twins, but I know I will need a lot of support. One of the biggest challenges in getting support last time, was that I was too sleep deprived to drive to a lactation consultant and I had no one to drive me. I would love to find someone to come to our house.

I plan to give birth in a hospital and I’m going natural for the first time. I’m not sure budget wise I’m in need to know prices. I really want to focus on natural birth.
