3month old Breastfed baby having a hard time taking a bottle from the babysitter. She uses the Pacii bottle and says if he is half asleep he will take a full 3oz’s but when he is awake mainly in the afternoons he gives her a hard time and only takes about 1oz then cat naps and is back up wanting more since he didn’t get full. He has been with this baby sitter for 3 weeks today and has not gotten any better.

Someone who can look at baby’s latch and help diagnose any ties she may have and check for any tension she may have that is affecting the latch. Really just need someone to look at the whole picture. Budget would be under $350 or so.

I have a one week old baby that I can’t get to latch. We had no issues in hospital with him getting a good latch, but due to a severe tongue tie, I had to take a break and just pump because of extreme pain, cracking, etc. we rotated breast milk through bottles and were able to get a couple of successful latches with a nipple shield. We just had his tongue and lip tie released Wednesday and have yet to get him to latch on my breast. We occasionally have success with a nipple shield, but only once or twice a day. Interested in a Medicaid covered provider.

I know the first few days are very important for continued milk production, so I would like to be prepared to make the most of that. I will also need help in a few months as I prepare to go back to work and will need to pump there. A support group in the North Jefferson area would also appreciated.

I plan to give birth at Baptist Women’s hospital here in Memphis. My budget is open currently. I plan to birth completely unmediated but if not possible due to circumstances and needing dilators or things of that sort, atleast NO EPIDURAL for sure

I plan to give birth at Baptist Women’s in Memphis. I am not really sure of a budget as I don’t really know how much a doula usually is. I am a little bit concerned about the price, of course, however I feel that I could benefit from a doula. I am not sure if my birth will be medicated or unmedicated yet and feel that I will make that decision when I get there!

I am expecting my third baby in May. I had an unexpected C-Section three days after Christmas with my first baby and the lactation consultant at the hospital was out of town. We ended up switching to formula in the hospital. With my second baby, we went straight to feeding formula in the hospital and he was not breastfed at all, but had regrets about it. After lengthy discussions with my husband, I feel strongly drawn to breastfeed or at least pump for our third baby. However, it is very intimidating because I have no experience at all. I am looking for someone who can help me obtain the knowledge and confidence to breastfeed or pump for baby #3.

In need of Help with producing more breast milk for newborn.

I started breastfeeding exclusively and started very well but had to bottle feed for a week, due to my nipples being cracked. That was about a month ago and now I’m trying to get her to latch again.

I'm having trouble producing milk on constant bases. First month, I was producing 7 ounces in the morning and then it will mellow out. Now, barely producing 3 ounces.

Want opinion on babies latch. She will eat 20 minutes per side and seems to be fussy after like she’s still hungry. When I pump in replacement of feeds I get anywhere between 3-4.5 oz. If I pump after latching her I get 2-3. Don’t think she is getting enough out and has had slow weight gain.
