I am 6 weeks along with my 5th. I would like to have a home birth. My first was a c- section and the last 3 were vbacs. I have quick labors and even faster deliveries. I would like to experience birthing at home instead of a hospital. I have had bad experiences in the hospital. My body is able to do what it needs to do, so I would like to try at home. I would love a homebirth but do not have the financials for a midwife. I am currently getting care through Stonybrook, however I want to switch to either NUMC or Huntington if I cannot figure out the homebirth situation. I want a doula IN PERSON regardless for support but more so if I am in the hospital. This is my 3rd pregnancy. My first was an unnecessary C-section. My second was a VBAC that I had to fight for. I am not religious.

St Charles Hospital, 5k budget for midwife, limited interventions, epidural. For night nursing I would actually just need a few nights a week between the hours of 3pm to 12 pm every other week because of my work schedule with possible.
