Hi, I’m delivering at UConn John Dempsey and I’m planning a VBAC. Due 1/9/27. UConn has confirmed that they don’t currently have midwives in Labor & Delivery. My Cigna plan specifically covers midwife services, but not doulas. I’m wondering if you ever provide labor support where you would attend the birth as my support person but would not be acting as my delivering provider. My UConn OB would remain responsible for my medical care and delivery. Is that something you offer, and if so, would you be able to bill Cigna for your services?”

I would like to have a stay at home birth so looking forward to midwife, currently about 5 months

In hospital no vaccines for myself or baby try to go as naturally as possible

I am 6 weeks along with my 5th. I would like to have a home birth. My first was a c- section and the last 3 were vbacs. I have quick labors and even faster deliveries. I would like to experience birthing at home instead of a hospital. I have had bad experiences in the hospital. My body is able to do what it needs to do, so I would like to try at home. Looking for a midwife to assist with this journey. Thank you.

9 weeks along with second child. Don’t mind giving birth at a hospital or birthing center. Vaginal birth. Night nurse 35 hours a week for 6 months

I plan to give birth in a hospital. My budget for a doula is 2k. My birth plan would be to labor at home for a while and then drive to Manchester memorial hospital to give birth because I believe they are the most vba2c supportive in Connecticut with the midwives affiliated there.

Just found out my wife is pregnant she is either 3 weeks or 7 weeks. First ultrasound is scheduled for June 1st. We are Catholic and are interested in learning about natural birthing practices. Want to learn about doulas midwives and how to have either a home birth or a natural hospital birth. Want to learn about how I can advocate for my wife so we don’t get vaccinations and unnecessary procedures. We live in CT and plan to contact with Hartford hospital for our care. I make just under 3k a month with rent at 1250 every month.
