Lactation consultant for breastfeeding and I think my newborn might have a tongue tie
This is my niece’s second child and she was not successful with breastfeeding the first. Would like to provide some help. Identified issue of inverted nipples. We would like someone mature with certification and experience.
I have small nipples and my baby struggles to latch on them. I am trying nipple shields after they were recommended by my midwife but am not sure this is a great solution for me and my baby. She no longer recognizes my nipple and doesn’t seem to be gaining her weight back.
I plan to give birth in hospital . i do not have a birth plan yet experienced doula Accepting Husky insurance
I'm looking for a postpartum doula in Suffolk County. Our baby is due in August, and we would like help with, newborn care (bottle feeding, diaper changes, etc), lactation education, general household help (cleaning, cooking), and postpartum mom support. Night support would be great, but we are still deciding/are flexible. A bonus is someone trained in Traditional Chinese medicine, but not required. Ideally looking for someone that my insurance covers, so budget can also be flexible.
Looking for help with breastfeeding, latching baby, pumping breast milk and flange sizing. I have Husky insurance (Medicaid).
Need breastfeeding assistance. Specifically with right breast
Hi! I’m a first-time mom and currently pregnant. I’m looking for guidance on breastfeeding as I don’t have prior experience and would like to better understand how everything works. I’m interested in a combination approach (breastfeeding and bottle feeding), as my fiancé would like to be involved in feeding our baby as well. I’d like support understanding how to establish milk supply, when and how to introduce a bottle, and how to incorporate pumping into a routine. I also have questions about frequency of pumping, maintaining supply, and what a realistic feeding routine looks like in the early weeks. Overall, I’m looking for education, guidance, and support so I can feel confident going into this experience. Thank you!
My 1 week old baby can latch and suckles but it takes her a long time to nurse with little milk drained from my breast. I don’t think she can get a deep latch. I have elasticity breasts and am not sure what I can do to help her get full from my breast. I am on CT Medicaid

Hi there! My name is Corie and I'm 13 weeks pregnant with my first child. I plan to give birth at a hospital. Estimated budget is $2000-2500 at most, but I would love to be able to stay under that amount. I'm still making decisions about my birth plan and would love recommendations from my doula about that. I would love a doula that is DONA certified and has reported attending at least 40 births. I also would like a doula with a variety of birth experiences (e.g., medicated and unmedicated, emergency c-sections. etc). It would be a bonus if my doula participates in a doula community or mentorship. I am a 30 (31 at time of birth) year old married woman. At this time, my pregnancy is low risk and I don't have any special needs.
Once I go back to work my wife will be working from home for a month and I wanted to have someone there with here while she works for home as just an extra hand.
This is my first child. And im not sure where to start or what to do. All I know if I need help and support
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I am hoping my insurance company will pay for a duola. My first pregnancy ended in an emergency csection and I struggled to provide milk for my daughter. I would like to avoid a csection if possible and be able to breastfeed for the first year
