I plan on giving birth at North Country Hospital. My first child was delivered by midwives and I don't have that option this time around. I am looking for someone who can support me to allow my husband to he as least stressed about my well being as possible. I am also looking for any postpartum support as I will have a 4 year old and my husband will not be able to take paternity leave. I did not have a doula before so I'm not really sure what it all entails. I'm not sure on budget as I'm not sure what it costs. My birth wish is to have as little medical intervention as possible (unless I need induction like my first birth). Golden hour is a MUST. I would like to have the olive oil massage on my perineum to avoid tearing. If it's a boy I want him left intact. Freedom to move around and freedom to birth in whatever position I am most comfortable in.

Hello, my daughter is expecting for first time and is terrified of all entails, though very excited for baby. She's 12 weeks and has so much morning sickness. She's also not good with getting blood drawn gives her major anxiety. Last time they tried I hospital she was so freaked out she moved and it busted. She's wanting to have baby as naturally as possible. So I'm trying to help get information. I had 2 c sections but would love for her to have this kind of more peaceful experience. I am interested in seeking out and using a doula for my birth. This is new to me! This isn’t second pregnancy and I had preeclampsia and had to be induced (not fun). I’m currently taking baby aspirin to hopefully reduce my chances. I’ve thought about and considered not getting an epidural. I’m scared but think it would help my chances of not tearing (also miserable). I want to be educated and learn different things than what I did the first time. I will give birth in a hospital. I have no idea how much that costs and if insurance covers that or not.

This will be my 2nd birth. My 1st one was a high risk twin pregnancy that had me impatient at the Fetal Care at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. I found out at 20 weeks we were expecting twins and my plans for a natural birth went out the window. I delivered the twins at 29 w and 6 days via c-section. This go round I’m seeking a VBAC option to redeem my original plans. I live in rural eastern Colorado and so I’m in the process of looking for a hospital close enough to us that has the capabilities to fulfill my wishes. I’m looking into the Greeley/ Ft. Collins area. Because of the amazing intimate care I had at the Fetal Care I desire to have a doula to provide the same feels and experience I had there. My budget is $1,000-$1,800.

Hello, I am looking for a labor support Doula for the birth of my first child in Late June/early July. I have not yet decided whether I will have a home birth, or of give birth at Naval Medical Center. I am planning to have a natural, unmediated birth and know I will need physical and emotional support through it.

I would do it in the hospital but I don’t want it to feel like I’m in the hospital, I don’t want the staff bombarding me and intervening every 5 seconds. I want to do it naturally, in better positions than what the hospital wants me to do… I’m not positive about all of the rest but I just want someone that’s going to vouch for me while I’m vulnerable and I fear my husband is too nice and they will walk all over him… I’m not even sure about an estimated budget but I do know I would need someone who takes tricare to help with the cost!
