Good morning, I am looking for a midwife to do a home birth. We do not have a budget at this time, but are wanting to use our insurance which is Cigna. I will need some guidance with my birth plan but as of now I know I want to do a home, unmediated birth.

I plan to give birth a the hospital. I am covered by Tricare Prime TriWest for a doula. I have no interest in paying out-of-pocket. Please only respond if you are accepting Tricare prime. I want to discuss a birthing plan because I am new to all of this.

I came across your profile and wanted to reach out because I'm currently looking for a birth doula. I wanted to see if you participate in the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. From my understanding, TRICARE covers up to 6 hours of antepartum and/or postpartum doula visits (which can be divided into 15-minute increments however we'd like), along with one continuous labor support visit during the birth. I also understand that, to be eligible for TRICARE coverage, doulas must be certified through one of TRICARE's approved certifying organizations (such as DONA International) and have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing. Are you certified through a TRICARE-approved organization and do you have an active NPI? If so, I'd love to learn more about your services, your availability around my October due date, what your birth support includes, and how the TRICARE billing process works. Since this is our first baby, I'm hoping to find a calm, supportive doula who has experience working with first-time moms and who works well alongside my husband, as he'll be my primary support person during labor. We're expecting our first child, a daughter, on November 6th, and we're currently at 25 weeks. We'll be delivering at Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest in Fort Worth with Dr. Stacy Butler, so experience at that specific hospital is a plus. The main reason we want a doula is that I will be my wife's only support person in the room. We don't have family nearby and aren't planning to have anyone else at the birth, so we're looking for someone who can provide continuous support through a long labor and give me a chance to eat and rest without leaving my wife alone. Reliable backup coverage matters to us for the same reason. A few things that are important to us: My wife wants to keep her options open on pain management, including an epidural. We're looking for someone who will support whatever she decides in the moment rather than steering her toward or away from any particular kind of birth. We are formula feeding exclusively and have already made that decision, so we'd like a doula who is comfortable with that and won't push breastfeeding. We are not religious. We don't mind if a doula is personally religious, but we would prefer that faith, prayer, or scripture not be part of our birth experience. We're also interested in hands-on preparation. Childbirth education as part of a package is something we'd consider. Having birth doula, postpartum doula, as well as night services available from the same provider is a plus. We'd like to book within the next few weeks and are flexible on scheduling consultations, including evenings and weekends.

I am planning to have an unmedicated water birth at the Fort Worth Birthing Center. My budget for a doula is around $1,000 I’m currently creating my birth plan, and since this is my first pregnancy, I would really appreciate a doula who can help guide and educate me throughout the preparation process. I want to feel physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared for birth. I plan to breastfeed, but I’m not interested in direct latching. I would prefer to exclusively pump and would love support and guidance with establishing a successful pumping routine after birth. What I’m looking for most in a doula is someone who can help prepare me for the physical aspects of an unmedicated birth, provide encouragement and reassurance throughout labor, and help me feel confident in my body and my ability to give birth. My faith is also very important to me. I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and I would love to have a doula who is comfortable incorporating prayer, scripture, and faith-based encouragement into my birth experience. I want the atmosphere surrounding my labor and birth to feel peaceful, supportive, and centered around God. At home birth un medicated natural no budget most experienced

2nd baby, in Cedar Hill Texas. Hospital delivery, hoping for unmedicated but I’m uneducated on that so far. Looking for an advocate in the hospital. First delivery went well. Not sure about the cost of a doula.

I am a first-time mom expecting to deliver at UT Southwestern Hospital in Dallas. I have Cigna insurance and am looking for a compassionate, experienced birth doula who can provide prenatal education, continuous labor support, and postpartum guidance. I would like someone who is calm, knowledgeable, and advocates for informed decision-making while respecting my birth preferences. This is my first baby, so having emotional support, comfort measures during labor, and breastfeeding support after delivery are important to me. Experience working with first-time mothers is preferred.

I will be delivering at Baylor Scott and White Grapevine. I'm unsure of budget and am trying to figure out what my insurance may or may not cover. This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. I want to remain open minded to the possiblity that things may not go the way I want them to. I am with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and have the Blue Choice PPO if relevant.

In search of a doula that will come to my home during active labor to offer support as I would be a VBAC and so I want to labor at home as long as possible before going to the TX health Mansfield hospital. Doula would come to hospital with me too!

Feeding, diapering, bathing, soothing, nap time, baby laundry, baby dishes. Three days a week. CPR, first aid certified. Experienced with newborn care. $25 to $30 an hour.

Birth plan i want to be as unmedicated as possible, focusing on pain management techniques that are not medicated. I have Texas star medicaid but have not picked a plan yet.
