Hospital birth, I’m not to sure of my budget as I don’t know how much a doula ranges. As of now my birth plan is all natural I have 2 daughters who were spontaneous births but had an epidural and pitocion.

I was looking for someone who could come into my home and help me through my pregnancy. And be a consultant and discuss my birth plan along the way. I haven't decided if I want to give birth at home . Budget is up for discussion. And I'm not worried about that. I do want to have an epidural. So that may play into the birth location. I dont have a solid birth plan.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. I may be induced, and want to have an educated advocate in the room for decision making as well as an additional support person. I’m not sure about my budget, but maybe around $1000. For postpartum, I’m hoping someone can give some basic guidance on infant care and help ease some of the transition in this being my first child.

This is my second pregnancy and I’m having twins. My first labor was very long and I was rejected from the hospital 5 separate times. I really felt like I didn’t have any health care people advocating for me and because I’d never given birth and was in a boat load of pain I didn’t know how to advocate for myself. I thought going into my second pregnancy I would know more of what was going happen since I’d done it before but since finding out I’m having twins a few months ago I feel like I’m back to being in the dark since it’s so different with twins. I’m not sure what my budget is yet since I’ve never had a doula so I don’t know what it usually costs. I’ll be delivering at banner desert hospital. I would really like to have a vaginal birth if at all possible and I feel like having someone that is familiar with the process would help me achieve that.
