Hi there, I'm just trying to find an in-person doula in my covered insurance network with AZ BCBS PPO. I'm having a water birth in-center at the Tempe Birth Center in Tempe, Arizona 85281. This is my first pregnancy and I don't have any local family or any family able to support during the birth (permanently disabled/wheelchaired mother) so hoping to get any kind of guidance or support that I can find with a doula!

First baby, in Tempe. I need someone to help me figure out my latch and how to mitigate my fast let down and help around the house and overnight while my husband sleeps so he can go to work the next day. In person would be preferred. 3 nights per week and hours would be negotiable. Start date is as soon as possible and duration would be for about 10 weeks.

I would like post parted care and help the most. I am a firefighter and so is my husband so he’ll be gone for 2 days a week

Looking for a doula to help us and our midwife for a home birth in Mesa, AZ.

Having our first baby at Banner Desert. I am the oldest of 5 with an RN mother who was a doula and had home births I attended. My husband has little to no experience with birth/babies etc and is pretty nervous. I have a very thorough understanding of expecting the unexpected and would like someone who can support me and be very hands on during delivery. My biggest concern is my husband not understanding what is going on and not being able to advocate for everything I want/need. I am planning on having a hospital birth with an epidural and would like to wait as long as possible before going to the hospital. I am pro-science but believe birthing mothers know what is best for their bodies and would like minimal monitoring and interventions. I am very in tune with my body and would like someone who can amplify my voice. My baby will be receiving all vaccines, a circumcision, and vit K, but I prefer no eye antibiotic. I am pro delayed cord clamping if my baby comes earlier than expected, but if baby is full term I have no preference.

My apologies for the due date but I literally just found out about the importance of having a Doula. My baby's mom is having my son on October 1, and I need an African-American Doula to help her through the process in regards to making sure that she doesn't take shots or pills that could harm the baby, As well as preventing any practices that might not be applicable or harmful to an African-American baby.. I definitely need someone to help with the process of birth and making sure that everything is done accordingly..
