I am blessed to live in sunny San Diego, CA. I do call myself a midwest gal though, and grew up in various states. I graduated High School in Illinois and went to college in Indiana. My husband and I moved to San Diego in 2013 and never looked back. Our son was born in 2023, so we are currently navigating toddler-hood and all the joys that come with it. I also love dogs, and we lost our very beloved Pug in 2026. I have worked in corporate HR for 10+ years and believe the career transition to being a postpartum doula is exactly what the universe had planned for me. Outside of work (which no longer feels like "work") I love to be outside as much as possible - at parks, beaches, going on long walks, and finding any family friendly events going on around the city. I also love to cook and experiment with new recipes. My family loves to try new restaurants and travel. In a nutshell, we like to do anything and everything that feels like an adventure. I am also fluent in Spanish and hope to be a resource to bilingual families!

I am the doula for working families! I have 10+ years working in HR, primarily as a Benefits & Leave Specialist. I'm turning that experience into a passion to helping working families with all things family planning. I have completed all required Postpartum Doula training from the International Doula Institute. My goal is to truly be that extra set of hands all parents want during the fragile and important first few months with your new baby. I provide compassionate, non-judgmental, and education-first care. I absolutely love to cook and (believe it or not) clean and organize. I have a 3-year-old son and not only know about childcare from my first-hand experience and doula certification, but I also because I spent almost my entire junior high, high school, and college years babysitting children of all ages. If requested, my postpartum doula contract can include a detailed benefit analysis to ensure you are getting all insurance, company benefit, and state benefits available to you. If there was ever a time where "you don't know what you don't know" applies, it is to first time parents navigating the very complex world of insurance and benefits. I am Cassi with Nest and Navigate - here to help you build your Nest & Navigate all things postpartum care and benefits.
