My name is Kumari Mason and I'm a certified postpartum doula dedicated to helping families feel supported, confident, and cared for during the fourth trimester. My approach combines compassionate emotional support with practical, hands-on care so you can focus on healing, bonding with your baby, and adjusting to life as a new parent. I have a special passion for supporting families with NICU graduates and medically complex infants. As a pediatric intensive care (PICU) technician and postpartum doula, I understand the unique challenges that can come with bringing a baby home after a hospital stay. Whether your little one requires specialized feeding support, extra monitoring, or you simply need reassurance during this transition, I'm here to walk alongside your family with empathy and evidence-based care. Do you work with NICU families?

Absolutely. I specialize in supporting families bringing their babies home from the NICU. With my experience as a postpartum doula and a pediatric intensive care (PICU) technician, I understand the unique challenges NICU families face and provide compassionate, evidence-based support during the transition home. I also have experience supporting infants with feeding tubes and other medical needs.

Do you provide overnight support?

Yes! Overnight care is one of my specialty services. During overnight visits, I care for your baby while you rest, assist with breastfeeding or bottle feeding, soothe and diaper your baby, clean bottles and pump parts, and help create a calm nighttime routine. Parents can sleep knowing their baby is in experienced, compassionate hands.
