I will be giving birth at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach CA. I am looking for a Doula that accepts my insurance, Blue shield of CA! This is my final baby, number 6, & I have always wanted to have a Doula but never actually did it. Im looking for support at delivery and postpartum. I plan to have an unmedicated birth and want to try hypno birthing method or any type of breathing techniques that will help with labor. I want to experience a peaceful and centered birth as much as possible. My last 2 deliveries have been unmedicated and quick. I would love to have a Doula with years of experience, who is bilingual in Spanish and is funny, sarcastic and upbeat but professional and calm when necessary. Im currently 36 years old and are due very very soon!

Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care.
