I am a birth photographer and have been since 2015, right after my second son was born! You could say the birth of my first two children spurred me on to actually start my business, but birth work has been deeply planted in my heart since childhood. Photography has always been in my blood since I grew up with a dad who was a full-time photographer. Not only was I the subject many times of his photography classes, but he also taught me (and continues to) the love of this art form and all the skill that comes with it! Now I love to weave together motherhood stories all the way from your bump to your arms full of children with birth being my main niche!

I truly believe every birth should have the opportunity to be informed, supported, and empowered. I am there to give support in all aspects, such as; information, position knowledge, comfort techniques, partner assistance, errand running, praying, and hand holding. I am Raelene Whitehead! I trained as a birth doula in November 2021, and attended my first birth later that month. I opened Shiloh Birth LLC a few months later. I added placenta encapsulation to my services in May 2023! By the end of this year, I will have gained my Essential Oils Birth Consultant certificate. I became a birth doula and placenta encapsulationist because I believe women deserve support. Women deserve education and information especially when it comes to pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
