I am on the fence about if we will want a doula there for the actual birth but are very interested in any education before / after.

1. I plan to give birth at CPMC Hospital in San Francisco 2. I don’t know how much things cost so interested in learning the pricing of doula services 3. I don’t have a birth plan yet. I would like to work with a Doula to help me on this.

We are still determining the exact level of support we are looking for. We plan to give birth in a hospital in San Francisco. Our primary search is for post-birth overnight support, which would include support for the mom and care for the baby, including feeding, settling, changing, and any associated cleaning. It is important to us to get detailed updates on how the baby did overnight. We want to make sure that the person providing the support fits well into our home. We would expect we need this support 4-5 nights per week for 10-16 weeks, and would seek to get support on sleep conditioning over that period of time. We are also evaluating if a birth doula is something that we want but have not yet decided on that.

I am located in Southern California in the Irvine area. My husband is in the military and is currently deployed. He most likely will not be able to be at the birth of our son. Because of that I will be giving birth in Napa California at Queen of the valley hospital. I have tricare and hope to get the doula services covered through my insurance. I am a first time mom so I do not currently have a birth plan per se so I am hoping the doula could help me. I am 24 years old and like I said this is my very first baby so anything helps.

We plan to give birth at a hospital (Kaiser in Redwood City). I'm looking for options that will be 100% covered by our Kaiser health insurance. My birth plan is flexible. Looking for a postpartum doula for support after i return home from the hospital. I am 39 and having my second child. i live with my partner and three year old son. My previous birth was cesarean and hoping for a vbac but not sure if its possible. my postpartum experience with my first child was extremely difficult and i would love a little more support this time for sleep and finding a rhythm.
