My preemie has a poor latch. He is gaining weight. But he has pretty bad acid reflux. He can only nurse in certain positions. I find it really challenging to nurse on the go because we don't have our full set up, the pillow, the spots with good support.

My baby was latching well but wasn’t transferring milk due to a tongue and lip tie. I tried to latch him as much as I could while also supplementing. He now screams and cries when I try to latch him and has a strong preference to the bottle. He had his tongue and lip released last week. I am really wanting to primarily breast feed and supplement a small amount if I need to.

I am looking to give birth at Baylor Scott & White in McKinney, TX, or at a birthing facility. My due date is on 12/5/26. I have Tricare Select insurance.

Help with latching! Baby has a clicking noise when feeding, discomfort when feeding and have reflux!

I need help reestablishing my milk supply and reestablishing my baby's latch

She latched fine up until last night and now it takes her 10 minutes to stop fighting me and latch. Sometimes she will put the boob in her mouth, then take it out other times she will move her mouth around my boob, but never latch. I tried different positions until something takes. It’s also pretty painful to latch and extremely sore / stinging after she’s finished.

This is my first pregnancy, and I’d like to explore holistic options vs traditional OB And hospital births. I do not know a lot about midwivery besides some initial research but would like to explore that route for our care. Midwifery services is my primary concern, but also would like to learn about doula services and lactation services to see if that’s a good option for me too. would prefer birth center or home birth (water birth) Have Aetna insurance so prefer to use that, otherwise will pay OOP/look at financing options.

Guidance in strictly bottle feeding after a lip/tongue tie release

I would like to breast feed but I have been having latching/nipple issues since day one in the hospital. I have also dealt with engorgement so I have to pump as well. I am needing help with trying to figure out a schedule to navigate combo feeding of breast feeding and pumping/bottle feeding. We are also currently having to temporarily supplement with formula to help little man up his calorie intake to get him to be awake more and gain weight. So having to add that into the schedule at the moment as well but going back to the doctor on Tuesday to reevaluate the supplementing.
