I’m looking for a doula to help me with emotional and physical support during birth, covered with my insurance plan, An affordable midwife to assist me with the home birth, and a lactation consultant to support me after birth with breastfeeding. - i will be going to my ob for my doctors appointments in network, and would just like to facilitate the actual birth at home. -home birth, bathtub, birth sling. - 5-7k - no intervention, no iv, only vitamin k, no eyedrops, keep placenta. - 2nd vaginal birth, first natural - i would like a lactation consultant to support me with cluster feeding, establishing supply, and creating a support for those emotions and pain you can feel with those first feeds. 💕 additional duties not required.

I’d like to give birth at a birthing center but my husband is leaning towards a hospital. I mainly want it to be a natural birth and to labor how I feel most comfortable. I don’t want to be pressured or pushed by the hospital in any way (including delayed cord clamping, keeping vernix on etc). I’m open to giving birth wherever it’s possible, preferably hospital because it’s safer but I’m open to home birth too, if I get enough of education and coaching. I am also going to be alone for this, my husband works nights, my family doesn’t live around, my mom can come to be with me few times a year for a bit. I’d pay using anthem ppo. Want to reduce the cesarean and I’m open to pain meds, as I have low pain tolerance. I get anxious and tend to be panicky. I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. Any experience helping first-time moms with larger bodies is appreciated. My first trimester has been very rough. Thanks for considering!
