We had such a great experience working with Maria. My baby started going through the 4-month sleep regression early, and by the time he was only 3.5 months old, his sleep was completely disrupted (awake every hour or so). I also have a toddler at home, so the disrupted nights were becoming really hard to manage and I knew I needed help. What I loved about working with Maria was that she didn’t just give me a sleep plan and send me off to implement it while already exhausted. She came to our home overnight and actually did the work with my baby while I slept. She learned his patterns, figured out what worked for him, and handled his wake-ups, while also teaching me exactly what she was doing and why so that I could confidently take over afterward. Her approach felt very personalized to my baby and our family rather than a generic sleep-training program. The results were incredible. After just two nights, my baby was sleeping through the night. It is now several weeks later, and he still consistently sleeps from bedtime until morning and, if he does briefly wake, he is able to settle himself back to sleep. Having Maria physically there doing the difficult part while I was able to get some much-needed sleep was invaluable. If you are exhausted and struggling with your baby’s sleep, you really do not have to figure it all out by yourself. Maria took an enormous weight off my shoulders, and I would absolutely recommend her.

My philosophy is rooted in the belief that every woman who goes into labor should feel equipped, with knowledge, love, support, connection, and deep trust in herself. I meet each person where they are, honoring their unique beliefs and vision for birth. I don't care how you choose to birth; I only care that you get to keep your power and feel fully supported in your own beliefs about birth. My role is never to direct your path, but to walk beside you with steady support and trustworthy information so you feel confident and connected every step of the way. Overall, my goal is to help you feel equipped, empowered, and supported, holding onto your power as you bring your baby into the world.

As an immigrant from Turkey with no family nearby, my first pregnancy felt overwhelming at times. I often felt alone, and having Jade by my side made all the difference—she truly became the support system I needed. My biggest dream was to have an unmedicated vaginal birth. Throughout my pregnancy, Jade prepared us both physically and mentally. She explained every stage of labor with so much detail and confidence that by the time labor began, we felt completely ready. I arrived at the hospital at 8:00 a.m., and by 9:33 a.m., I was holding my beautiful daughter in my arms. I gave birth naturally without an epidural or any pain medication. Even though my pregnancy was considered high-risk, I was able to have the birth I had hoped for, and I truly believe Jade’s knowledge, guidance, and unwavering support played a huge role in making that possible. What makes Jade so special goes far beyond her expertise. She was always available to answer my questions, calm my fears, and remind me to trust my body. She gave me confidence when I needed it most. If you’re looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about you and your birth experience, I cannot recommend Jade enough. She helped make one of the most important days of my life more beautiful than I ever imagined, and I will always be grateful for everything she did for my family.

Hello! I’m Nora, an experienced Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with over 35 years of professional childcare experience, including 26 years specializing in newborn care. My journey began in 1991 as a professional nanny caring for children of different ages. In 2000, a dear friend introduced me to the wonderful world of overnight newborn care, and I quickly discovered my true passion. I completed my Postpartum Doula training in 2005 and continued my professional education in newborn care in 2007. Throughout the years, I’ve expanded my knowledge through additional training in lactation education, infant sleep shaping, and age-appropriate sleep training. One of the most meaningful experiences of my career began in 2006, when I was hired to care for newborn twins. What started as an overnight position developed into a wonderful nine-year relationship with their family. During those years, two more babies joined the family, and I had the privilege of helping establish healthy sleep routines for each of them. Years later, another family welcomed me into their home to care for their twins. Once again, what began as newborn care turned into a five-year commitment. Throughout these long-term positions, I continued supporting other families with overnight newborn care, allowing me to stay actively involved in the work I love most. My areas of experience and specialty include: * Overnight newborn care and postpartum support * Twins, triplets, and multiples care * Premature infants and NICU-to-home transitions * Breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and lactation education support * Reflux, gas, and feeding challenges * Gentle newborn sleep shaping and healthy sleep foundations * Age-appropriate infant sleep training and independent sleep guidance * Parent education and individualized newborn routines My approach to sleep begins with gentle, responsive routines during the early newborn weeks. As babies grow and become developmentally ready, I help families gradually establish healthy sleep habits and work toward more independent sleep. I believe every baby is unique, and every family deserves care that respects their parenting preferences, values, and individual needs. I am CPR/First Aid certified, professionally insured, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a registered Carrot provider. For me, newborn care is much more than a profession. It’s a passion that has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with families and support them through some of the most beautiful and challenging moments of parenthood. My greatest reward is knowing that parents can rest peacefully while their little ones are receiving attentive, nurturing, and experienced care. I would be honored to be part of your family’s journey! ❤️

We had a very good experience with Emilia. She was caring, gentle, reliable, and extremely attentive to the baby’s needs. Having someone experienced and trustworthy during the night gave us great peace of mind, especially during those first weeks with a newborn. She handled the baby with great care, was attentive to her feeding and sleeping routines, and was always calm and patient. She was also very respectful of our home and our family’s preferences. We truly appreciated her experience, professionalism, and the warmth she showed toward our baby. So happy I picked Shy to watch my baby boy. Unfortunately, my maternity leave was only about a month, and I knew there was no way I would have been able to continue doing night shifts while working. I found Shy from a referral, and she really helped make my night so much easier! While I still had to wake up for breastfeeding, Shy was there for all the transitions and allowed me to really get the most sleep I could by taking care of literally everything. Even just the fact that my pump parts were always washed and ready to go made life so much easier! Even just watching her holding my baby, I could tell that she truly does care, and just that alone let me know my baby was always in good hands! Once again, thank you so much, Shy, couldn’t have done this without you!

Our experience with Melanie was nothing short of exceptional. Melanie was our NCS from the day our son was born until 6 months of age. She truly operated as the Lead NCS for our household, setting the standard for everyone else and ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Her level of organization was outstanding. Melanie was always proactive about keeping me informed on anything that needed restocking and made sure our home was consistently well prepared and fully supplied. Melanie’s commitment to hygiene and safety was a huge stand out for us. She maintained the highest standards of cleanliness in caring for our newborn and was incredibly diligent about safe sleep practices at all times, which gave us real peace of mind. Every night, she provided thoughtful, consistent updates so we always knew exactly how our son was doing. Melanie also took the initiative to organize and coordinate the nightly schedule between myself and the other staff, ensuring everyone was aligned and that care was consistent. All of our son’s feeding, sleeping, and changing items were always perfectly organized and ready, making everything feel effortless. Beyond technical skills, Melanie brought a level of professionalism and leadership that elevated our entire household. She truly ran a well-managed, attentive, and calm environment for our son, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and structure she provided during such an important time. We hope to have her back for baby #2!

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Glo. As a first-time mom living far from much of my family, I was nervous about navigating the postpartum period, but after our very first night with Glo, I knew we had found someone incredibly special. Glo is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, reliable, gentle, and kind. She brought a sense of calm and confidence into our home during a time when everything felt new. She was always there to answer questions, talk through different approaches, and help us navigate each new stage with our daughter without ever making us feel like there was one “right” way to do things. She also went far beyond simply caring for our baby. Glo helped us set up systems that made our entire bottle prep, feeding, and sanitizing routine so much more efficient and organized. Whenever we needed additional support, she had an incredible network of trusted resources to direct us to, including a lactation consultant who ended up being invaluable to me. One of the things I appreciated most was how intentional she was about understanding our goals. Each week, she listened to what we wanted to work on—both in the immediate moment and more broadly with our daughter—and helped us turn those goals into clear, actionable plans. So many of the routines and systems she helped us establish have worked incredibly well for our family and given us confidence as new parents. More than anything, Glo gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have received as a new mother: confidence in my ability to be a mom. She never imposed her way of doing things; instead, she gave me the knowledge, support, and encouragement to trust my own instincts. She was endlessly supportive and brought such a gentle, reassuring presence into our home. When I look back on the time I became a mother, Glo will forever be a part of that memory. Her warmth, knowledge, patience, and support were more meaningful than I ever could have anticipated. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side, and I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Hello there! My name is Cynthia Alvarado and I identify as she/her. I'm happily married to a wonderful man, and we have a beautiful 12-year-old boy, who is currently in middle school. My journey in Baby Night Care began in 2011 when a dear friend of mine, who is a Doula, recommended that I take a Doula training course. At that time, I had no idea what a doula was, but I was fascinated when she explained it to me. I loved babies and was excited to work with them and nurture families in their postpartum journey. When I took my doula training, I was eighteen and pregnant with my son Julian Alvarado! Julian was my first experience with newborns, and it was an incredible experience for me. As I was young and had no work experience, I started as a part-time daytime nanny. Later on, I began doing night nanny work while still working daytime. I slowly started building my experience and resume, and eventually started working full-time night-time only as a postpartum doula. Since then, I have continued my education in newborn and postpartum care, and I've become a Certified Doula, a Certified Newborn Specialist, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and I've earned a degree in Child Development, specializing in infant care. I have been working with families for over ten years now, and I absolutely love it. I have combined all my careers to provide personalized care that fulfills each family's unique needs. I offer emotional and lactation support, education, resources, empowerment, and nurturing for the whole family, as well as baby care services. If you need any help or support, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'm here to help!

Hello There! My name is Aly Gonzalez and I identify as she/her. I'm a mother to a sweet four year old boy named Luke and married a former Marine for almost 7 years! My Journey in Newborn care started way before I had my son, began back in 2018. I was introduced to an amazing family who needed the extra help overnight and I took up the opportunity as I knew I was more than cable of helping out the family in this new season. The family really opened up my eyes to an amazing opportunity of being able to help families with new babies. I was fascinated and took a leap of faith to start my own business as a New Born Care Specialist. I got certified and never looked back. Had my baby boy three years later and dove back into my business, as an ever better NCS because I now had a better and deeper understanding what it was like to come from the hospital with a new baby. I fell in love deeper with my job and got certified as a Postpartum Doula, furthering my education in the postpartum world. I'm now a newborn care specialist, postpartum doula, and a breastfeeding specialist. I'm Constantly continuing my education in newborn and postpartum care. I've worked with singles, multiples, and babies with special needs. I offer personalized care for every single one of my families depending on their wants and unique needs. I'm here to help support you emotionally, physically, offer lactation support, education, resources and empowerment. Alejandra was an absolute godsend during my postpartum journey. Her calm, nurturing presence made those overwhelming early weeks feel manageable and even beautiful. She supported my daughter, helped with the baby duties, and reminded me to care for myself — all with kindness and expertise. I truly don’t know how I would’ve done it without her. My daughter’s sleep schedule now is amazing and I know it was from her doula support. Highly, highly recommend!

Our experience with Charlotte was comfortable, compassionate and seamless. Charlotte is an outstanding doula with the on hand experience and advice that you need to feel confident, heard, and safe during what’s undoubtedly the scariest thing you’ve ever been through. Whether it was on hand at home before delivery, during labor, when it came time to push, and after the miracle - Charlotte is on it. Whether it’s holding a leg and counting breaths, gathering all the information and keeping tabs on the names of nurses or getting coconut water and helping with your hair- Charlotte has it covered. We love Charlotte; her ability to coordinate and manage the web of actions needed to help us deliver with confidence is incredible. Thank so much

Working with Monica of Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. was an incredible experience. From the moment she walked through the door, she brought a sense of confidence, calmness, and reassurance that made me feel safe and supported throughout labor. One of the most helpful parts of having Monica as my doula was her confidence and words of affirmation. As I navigated the intensity of labor, her calming presence helped me feel more relaxed, comfortable, and trusting of the birth process. I especially appreciated how naturally she stepped in wherever support was needed. There were moments when my partner needed to step away or wasn't quite sure what to do, and Monica seamlessly stepped in to provide support. My partner also felt supported knowing she was there to guide us and help whenever needed. I never felt judged or questioned. My wishes and birth preferences were always heard and respected. I truly didn't expect to feel as comfortable and safe as I did during such an intense experience, but Monica made that possible. Having Monica by my side made such a meaningful difference in our birth experience. Her ability to recognize what was needed, offer encouragement, and provide both physical and emotional support made her an invaluable part of our team. We are so grateful to have had Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. be part of such a special day. I would absolutely recommend Monica to any family looking for a compassionate, confident, and supportive birth doula! If you're looking for a doula who genuinely cares about your experience, listens to your wishes, and makes you feel supported every step of the way, Monica is the person you want in your corner. Birth is such a vulnerable and life-changing experience, and having someone like her beside you makes all the difference. I couldn't imagine having anyone else support us through this journey.

I’m so thankful for Candice and all the help she gave me. I was having a lot of anxiety around breastfeeding and constantly felt like I wasn’t doing things right. She really helped reassure me and showed me that I was actually doing a lot of things correctly, which gave me so much more confidence. She helped with my baby’s latch, showed me different nursing positions that were more comfortable, and helped identify my baby’s tongue tie. She also recommended a hand pump and helped me make sure I had the correct size. Candice was always professional, patient, and easy to talk to. I also really appreciated that she offered to come out whenever I was having issues or needed extra help. Having that support and reassurance made such a difference for me. I would definitely recommend her!
