Hello, I am seeking a birth doula who provides holistic, nurturing, and empowering support throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. While I deeply desired a home birth, I understand that may not be possible for me, and I am looking for someone who can help me create a calm, natural, spiritual, and intentional birth experience in whatever setting I deliver. I value emotional presence, grounding energy, and continuous labor support. I would like guidance with comfort measures, breathing techniques, advocacy, and informed decision-making so that I feel confident and supported throughout the process. It is important to me that my birth space feels safe, peaceful, and empowering. Postpartum care is equally important to me. I am looking for check-ins, recovery support, and gentle guidance as I transition into motherhood. Lactation education and hands-on breastfeeding support are a priority, as I would like to feel confident and well-informed in nourishing my baby. Overall, I am seeking a doula who honors both the physical and emotional aspects of birth and who can help me feel centered, supported, and empowered during this transformative time.

Plan to give birth at Fairview hospital. I’d prefer to have a fully natural birth. I don’t have an estimated budget or know much about doulas and their certifications.

Hospital birth Extra support while giving birth and postpartum

I’m hoping to give birth at Tripoint Hospital in Concord. I’m willing to spend $1,500 but it would be nice if someone accepted Buckeye Medicaid so it wouldn’t come out of pocket. I’d really like a Christian Doula. I’d like no epidural and for my husband to be there with me. While giving birth I’d like to play soft music and read/listen to Bible verses. Delayed cord clamping, an hour of time with the baby after birth unless there is a medical emergency. I’d like the baby to stay in my hospital room and if they need to leave for testing I’d like if me or my husband would go with them.

I am looking for a midwife, as I do not want to use an ob/gyn. I would ideally like to do a home birth. If for some reason I am unable to do a home birth, I want an uneducated birth, hopefully in a birth center. I would love to work with a midwife who also has nursing experience but am not completely set on it. I would like both a midwife and doula who have christian beliefs to match mine. I do not yet have an estimated budget. We are only about 4 weeks pregnant. I am looking for a midwife to schedule and ultrasound with. I already had an hcg blood test done.

Plan to give birth in a hospital. Estimated budget is $1000. Birth plan is to deliver vaginally, unmedicated. Preferences on having at least 3 years of experience and fluent in English. Would like if doula had Catholic beliefs, or Christian. Would like to breast feed and help with the return to home transition.
