Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Dalia, and I am a postpartum doula based in NYC. My path to this work began with my own postpartum experiences as a mother of two. The immense joy, the exhaustion, and the emotional ups and downs transformed me in ways I could never have anticipated. During that time, I became deeply aware of how often new parents are not supported in meaningful, holistic ways—how easy it is to feel alone in a season that requires so much care and community. That realization is what inspired me to pursue this work. As a postpartum doula, I support new parents as they navigate the complexities of the postpartum period with care and understanding. Alongside emotional support and a steady, nonjudgmental presence, I offer hands-on help with newborn care, feeding support, light household tasks, and creating rhythms that feel sustainable for your family. Whether it’s answering questions after I'm gone, helping you get a bit more rest, or simply holding space for everything you’re feeling, I’m there to meet you where you are. I believe every parent deserves to feel seen, held, and supported during this tender chapter, and I would be truly honored to walk alongside your family as you welcome new life and find your footing in this new season. Postpartum Doula services

I offer full-service postpartum support designed to meet you where you are during this transformative time. This includes postpartum planning during pregnancy, where we thoughtfully prepare for the early weeks after birth, as well as a prenatal meeting to connect and align on your hopes and needs. Once baby arrives, I provide practical, emotional, and evidence-based informational support tailored to your family—whether that’s newborn care basics, lactation or bottle-feeding guidance, space to process and retell your birth story, or simply steady presence during long days and tender moments. Throughout our time working together, I also remain available by phone and email, ensuring you feel supported not just during visits, but in between them as well.

This is not my first child, do I need a postpartum doula?

While there will be familiar moments, every labor, child, and postpartum journey is unique. A doula can still provide support during this time.

When should I reach out about postpartum support?

As soon as you get curious about what this could look like! Maybe you’re still pregnant or perhaps your little one has arrived - I prefer the earlier the better, but either way, contact me so we can set up some time to meet and discuss what kind of support you envision needing. I will also take this time to share with you what to expect from me as your postpartum doula and address any questions you may have. During this initial call, we can determine if we’re a good match for each other.
