We feel so lucky to have had Danielle with us three nights a week for the first six weeks after bringing our son home. As a first time mom, those early newborn days were such an adjustment, and Danielle quickly became a source of comfort and support for me too- not just someone we trusted to care for our baby. From the beginning, we felt safe and comfortable with her. She is incredibly caring, calm, and attentive, and I genuinely looked forward to the nights she was coming because I knew our son was in such good hands and I could actually rest. Especially in those first few weeks when everything felt so new, having her reassuring presence meant so much to us. Danielle was also wonderful about respecting our preferences and helping us figure out what worked best for our family without ever making us feel like there was one “right” way to do things. She was extremely communicative- always responsive, but also proactive about checking in, sharing updates, and making sure we were on the same page. We were genuinely sad when our time with Danielle came to an end. She became such a trusted and comforting presence during a really special and vulnerable time in our lives, and we’re so grateful she was part of those early weeks with our son. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a night doula.

Danielle is an incredible doula, and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our birth. From pregnancy through postpartum, she made me feel completely held and supported. Her prenatal check-ins, journaling prompts, and willingness to answer every question helped me feel informed, confident, and prepared for birth and so supported afterwards. I went into labor with so much trust built with my birth team, and that made SUCH a difference! When it came time to welcome our daughter, Danielle was invaluable. I had a 30-hour unmedicated labor, and she was by my side every step of the way. Because she took the time to truly understand my birth goals/plan and the reasoning behind them, she was able to help me navigate decisions during labor in a way that felt super aligned. She also helped transform our hospital room into a calm, beautiful space that felt as close to a home birth as possible, complete with soft lighting, LED candles, vibey music and a starry night projector. When labor became intense, she was a steady, reassuring presence— getting eye level with me/offering encouragement, helping me stay grounded, and providing hands on support with the double hip squeezes (which got me through SO many contractions). My husband also said he was incredibly grateful Dani was on my birth team. Having her there allowed him to be fully present while knowing we both had support. I truly cannot imagine my birth experience without her. If you’re considering hiring a doula, don’t hesitate to bring Danielle onto your team. Her support helped make one of the most transformative (and hardest) days of my life feel empowering, intentional, and SO special. Endless thanks yous 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

It’s no secret that the post-partum stage is an extremely vulnerable time, both physically and mentally. Danielle was a godsend during this time. She helped me navigate the early months of sleeplessness, emotions, physical changes and setbacks, and the never ending anxiety about pretty much everything, and she did it all with the compassion, kindness, patience, and humor I needed. She taught me so much about care - for myself and my baby - and even she helped me be a better mom to my first child. Her energy and presence is incredibly calming. You just know that it’s all going to be okay, and then more than okay, and then really good. Thank you Danielle, for helping my family and I navigate this crazy beautiful and stressful and transient time. We could not have done this without her guiding hand and heart.
