I am in the process of finalizing my birth preferences and am looking for a doula who provides comprehensive prenatal education and continuous labor support. I plan to give birth at a local hospital and value evidence-based information, calm presence, and advocacy. My estimated budget is flexible, around $1,800 – $2,800 depending on the scope of care.

I had 2 c-sections and the last was 4 years ago. I currently am looking for someone that will help me give birth naturally rather than someone who will encourage me to have another c-section. I would like to give birth in the hospital just in case of any emergencies and I'm not sure what my budget is just yet.

For coverage: I have a Sunshine Health Medicaid plan, and I'm specifically looking for a doula who is contracted with Sunshine Health so that services are covered. Doula care is a covered benefit under my plan and doesn't require prior authorization. If you're not currently in-network with Sunshine Health, please let me know upfront so we don't lose time. I am looking for a Doula to help with a birth plan along with being there for the birth & labor. I plan on giving birth at Boca Regional Hospital. My husband and I have a budget of trying to stay under $1000 if possible or if we can customize some type of package that can help us stay as close to our budget if possible. For our birth plan, we are a little up in the air and being this is our first child, we are trying to figure out where to start with a birth plan. I want to be able to have someone help advocate for us/ me if needed. In my birth plan, I want to have an epidural, I want to have my mother there during labor but am still undecided if I want her in the room with my husband and I during actual birth.
