Hello, my name is Ariel Taylor, and I am passionate about supporting and advocating for families through my work as a doula. With a strong educational background in psychology and a Master's in Legal Studies specializing in Healthcare and Technology Compliance, I bring a unique perspective to my role. My journey has been driven by a commitment to ensuring that all families receive the highest standard of care and support during one of the most significant times in their lives. My experience in healthcare compliance ensures that I am well-versed in maintaining the highest ethical standards and safeguarding the privacy and well-being of those I serve. Beyond my formal education, I have dedicated myself to understanding and implementing trauma-informed care practices. This approach allows me to provide compassionate and empathetic support, recognizing the diverse experiences and backgrounds of the families I work with. As a Crisis Counselor at The Trevor Project, I have honed my skills in providing emotional support and crisis intervention, which are critical in helping families navigate the complexities of childbirth and postpartum care. My goal as a doula is to be an advocate for you and your family, ensuring that your needs and preferences are respected and that you feel empowered and informed throughout your birthing journey.

Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m a wife, mom of three, Birth & Postpartum Doula, and Registered Health Care Aide with over 17 years of experience supporting people in their homes. My own experiences with motherhood, birth, postpartum, and loss are a big part of what led me to doula work. I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, and connecting with other moms. I’m passionate about helping women feel genuinely cared for and supported during such a vulnerable season of life. I’m also currently completing training in grief and loss support, with a special focus on supporting families through pregnancy and infant loss.

As a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, I offer compassionate support to babies and their parents during the weeks and months after birth. I can assist with newborn care, feeding support, soothing and sleep routines, postpartum recovery support, emotional encouragement for parents, and creating a calm, organized environment that helps the whole family adjust with confidence. My comprehensive approach also includes light housekeeping, meal prep, and overnight care, ensuring your little ones are safe, nurtured, and loved around the clock. As a certified First Aid and CPR provider, I prioritize your child's safety and well-being. I have also completed Infection Prevention and Food Safety training, and am in the process of completing Lactation courses. In addition to my training as a Birth & Postpartum doula, I'm also an experienced End-of-Life Doula and hospice volunteer.

Hi my name is madison and I am a birth and postpartum doula with lots of experience

At The Valley Doulas, we are a collective of experienced fertility, birth, + postpartum doulas and childbirth educators committed to supporting families in every aspect of their perinatal journey. Our approach is rooted in nurturing, integrity, and continuous care, providing both emotional and physical support for growing families that fosters confidence and connection. We believe in guiding families through the beautiful and transformative stages of birth and postpartum, supporting them in honing in on their intuition to make informed decisions. Our doulas work closely with families in Chilliwack and surrounding areas, mothering the mother— and folks who do not identify as mothers— while creating a safe space for healing and growth. Whether you are navigating pregnancy, birth, or the postpartum period, we are here to support your family’s unique path with honesty, compassion, and respect.

Hi, I’m Laurie I’m so excited to be providing birth and postpartum care. I believe that good support early on means better outcomes for everyone in the family. Birth is a sacred, transformative time in your life—one that deserves to be protected, supported, and celebrated. As a mother to four kids (now aged 12 to 22!), I know firsthand how deeply impactful the transition into parenthood is, and how much the right support matters. I completed my professional training through the Douglas College Doula Training Program in June 2026 and am certified to support all types of birth, postpartum journeys, and pregnancy loss. My goal is to provide a calm, steady, trauma informed and completely non-judgmental presence for your entire family as you navigate these major life changes. Before answering this calling, I spent years caring for people in different ways. I worked as a hairstylist from home while my children were small, and later ran a cozy home bakery for eight years. Today, I weave all of those unique caregiving skills into my doula work—whether that means braiding your hair during labor, baking a nourishing treat for your kitchen counter, or simply holding space so you feel taken care of. When I’m not supporting growing families, you can find me walking the local trails, tending to the plants in my yard, getting lost in a good book, or enjoying time with my family. And yes, if you caught the nod in my business name—I am a massive, long-time fan of ‘Call the Midwife’.
