I want to do a home birth, my estimated budget depends on how long I can do a payment plan for. I want a birthing pool as well

My OBGYN and I are not connecting as I would like and I did more research and feel better finding a mid wife or doula that I can connect with and listen to my wants and needs. I appreciate it! I plan on giving birth in a hospital setting. have medicaid health insurance. I believe its a cooks childrens plan but I would need to double check.

My daughter wants a home birth in Seven Points Texas 75143 This is a second birth. Her budget is $2000. Her first took place in a nearby hospital in Athens, TX. (40 min. away.) She wants a natural childbirth. But wants someone knowledgeable to monitor labor for unforeseen complications. An Emergency Center is 20 minutes away in nearby Gun Barrel City. The roards are good except the first 2.75 miles which are paved but ill-maintained but serviceable.

I was trying to have birth in a birthing center but I am not sure if my insurance covers that but I would like a midwife for my appointments and for my hospital birth. This will be my 3rd baby, and I really want to try something different. I am very strong minded during birth and I loved the experience with my first 2. Now I just want to try to do it without medicine and I want me and my husband to have an intimate time together. I was induced both pregnancies. I tend to lose fluid at the end which leads to inducing me early that’s really the only thing that was an issue for me. Insurance: I have United health care choice plus HSA through my job. Budget: not really sure. I asked another birthing center and they were asking $750 a month and that’s just really expensive.

I had my first baby when I was 17 and during the peak of the Covid pandemic. It was already such a scary time and the hospital staff made my experience even more traumatizing by treating me horribly. (I can only assume because of my age)I found out I was pregnant about a month after my fiancé tragically passed away. His accident has made it extremely difficult for me to leave the house, therefore I even more so don’t want to be in a hospital environment.
