I have over 20 years of public health experience working at the private, state and federal level. The importance of public health and living a healthy lifestyle has been my life since I was a young girl! My mother set the stage early in life by encouraging an overall holistic approach. I witnessed my first birth at the age of nine and that exposure opened a world of possibilities. I have always had an interest in maternal and child health and a passion to support women during one of the most important seasons of life, the sacred transition into motherhood. After having children of my own, I answered the call to follow my dream and become a doula. My goal is to educate and provide resources for healthy food and lifestyle choices that can lead to a better quality of life for those in the family and future years. I received a B.S. degree in health promotion and disease prevention from the University of Southern California, and a M.P.H. in health policy and management from Emory University. Divine Rhythm Doula + Wellness Services was created to offer birth and postpartum support to expectant families. We provide educational resources and emotional support throughout the birth continuum (pregnancy, new parenthood and beyond). Our services are tailored to each individual’s birthing needs. Our mission is to ensure that our clients have the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual support they need to have a safe, enjoyable birth experience free from anxiety or fear.

DeVonne exceeded my expectations for a doula! She made sure I was ready for the birth that I wanted! She was hands on with all of the unexpected changes that came up in my process!
