​Hello, ​I'm Deyanira Esqueda - Zapien , also known as Dee. I am Dedicated in Supporting You Through Every Step of Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Postpartum. ​ With a strong foundation in patient care, I bring both medical knowledge and compassionate care to every family I work with. My mission is to provide the physical, emotional, and informational support that empowers you throughout your entire birthing journey. Whether you’re navigating the ups and downs of pregnancy, preparing for childbirth, or adjusting to life with a newborn, I’m here to offer nurturing care and guidance every step of the way. I currently take Medi-cal (Central Coast Alliance for Health) insurance and offer sliding scale. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, making graphic t-shirts, and nature walks with my little family of 5. ​

PRENATAL : - 2 Sessions to help you prepare for your birth + motherhood, Virtual or in- person​ - Learn comfort measures​ - Birth & Postpartum plan​ - Unlimited text & call support- 24/7 - Referrals to community resources - Evidence-based information to ensure you make the right choices LABOR: - Continuous labor support in all birthing settings - home, hospital, and birth center. - On-call : 37 weeks & on​ - Use of massage, aromatherapy, and positioning techniques for pain management​ - Birth tools: Rebozo, peanut Ball, Birth ball - Work as a team with your care providers & your partner IMMEDIATE POSTPARTUM CARE: - Assistance with the "golden hours" for family bonding - at birth location - Breast crawl & initial breastfeeding - Transitioning to recovery room​ - Plus, A follow-up appointment postpartum between 1-4 weeks postpartum to process feelings around birth + motherhood , lactation, newborn care, & referrals to local experts.
