Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I’m a certified Full-Spectrum doula. I have experience supporting families through VBAC, high-risk pregnancies, and IVF journeys. I believe that every birth story is unique, and my role is to provide steady, compassionate support—emotionally, physically, and informationally—through each step of the process. My background includes working closely with clients navigating complex or medically supported births, and I’m deeply committed to creating a calm, empowering space where families feel safe, heard, and in control of their choices. Whether you’re preparing for a vaginal birth after cesarean, managing a high-risk pregnancy, welcoming a baby after fertility treatment, or have a generally "normal" pregnancy, I’m here to walk beside you with care and confidence. It’s an honor to support families during such a transformative time, and I’m grateful to be part of this work.

Welcome! I provide compassionate, personalized doula support for families navigating pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I have experience supporting VBAC, high-risk pregnancies, and IVF journeys, offering emotional, physical, and informational guidance every step of the way. Whether you're planning a hospital birth, home birth, or anything in between, I’m here to help you feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout your experience. Let’s create a birth journey that’s centered on you.
I don’t even know where to begin, because words hardly feel like enough to capture what Katelyn meant to us during my labor and delivery. From the very beginning, she was an unwavering pillar of support — calm, knowledgeable, and always just a text away. Whether I had a random question or needed reassurance during those anxious final weeks, she was there, guiding us with warmth and compassion. Then came the big day — and oh, what a movie-style labor it was. (Only 10% of pregnancies unfold this way, and no book, doctor, or classes could’ve prepared us.) When my mucus plug came out, Katelyn stepped in without hesitation. Even when the hospital initially sent us home, she calmly helped us understand what was happening and what to expect next. Only 2 hours later, my water broke with a dramatic gush — just like in the movies — she was already on her way to support us. What followed was a true marathon: 26 hours of labor, no sleep, emotional highs and lows, and waves of intensity. Through it all, Katelyn stood by us like a rock. She helped us stay grounded when everything felt overwhelming and never wavered, even as the hospital dealt with a shortage of nursing staff. She guided me with position changes, and ensured I felt safe and supported — especially as I had opted for an epidural birth. But beyond the physical support, Katelyn was a strong advocate for my birth plan. She made sure my voice was heard and my wishes were respected throughout the process. If you’re considering hiring a doula, do it — and if you’re lucky enough to have one like Katelyn, you’ll be in the best hands. Her strength, knowledge, and genuine care made all the difference. If I ever do this again, I’d choose her in a heartbeat.
