Hi, I'm Dez Weyburn. I have thirteen years of doula experience and have been able to support so many kinds of births. I love working with families who want to take charge of their own birth experience, however that looks to them. In the past year, I've sort of accidentally found a niche at supporting high risk births, so I'm well versed in how most of the local hospitals deal with labor complications. Beyond that, I'm well informed about supporting physiological births. As a doula and massage therapist, I often incorporate touch in prenatal meetings, the labor and birth, and our postpartum check-in.

-Two prenatal visits to discuss the birth care plan, desired photos, and to practice comfort measures. -On call labor support from 37 weeks until birth. -Immediate postpartum and feeding support after birth as needed. -50+ fully edited birth photos, delivered electronically. -One postpartum visit, which typically includes some pampering, assistance with the feeding method(s) of choice (if needed), and birth debrief.

Perinatal Plus

-Two prenatal visits to discuss the birth care plan and to practice comfort measures. -Two 60 minute prenatal massages and one 90 minute pre-labor massage. -Assistance writing both a birth and a postpartum care plan. -On call labor support from 37 weeks until birth. -Immediate postpartum and feeding support after birth as needed. -One postpartum visit, which typically includes some pampering, assistance with the feeding method(s) of choice (if needed), and birth debrief. -Postpartum 60 minute hot stone massage. What to expect

I offer birth doula support, including 2-3 prenatal meetings, on-call labor and birth support, and a postpartum check in. I also offer birth photography and prenatal massage as additional services.

Dez was an outstanding doula and she was the perfect advocate and support person my husband and I needed for my VBA2C (vaginal birth after 2 cesareans). I knew from the moment I met Dez that I was comfortable with her laid back personality and her passion for her work as a doula, as well as her love for continuous education on everything pregnancy, birth and postpartum which is so important to me as a nurse, myself!
