My name is Kara and I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula through Madriella Doula Network. I have served as a Doula for the last 4 years, and I'm truly passionate about this work. I have 7 beautiful children of my own and have had many different birth experiences, including my last three births being at home and one of my children joining our family through adoption. My passion for helping women and their families during this special time in their lives is what drives me. I want to be able to help women from pregnancy to birth and beyond in a way that best supports them and empowers them to be the best mothers they can be.

I believe in providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each individual. I handle birth education, pain management, breastfeeding, postpartum care, and more. I take the time to listen to my clients and work with them to develop a birth plan that aligns with their values and goals. My goal is to empower women to make informed decisions about their care and to provide them with the support they need to have a positive birth experience.
Kara was amazing at helping me navigate what to do to best help my wife during labor at our homebirth. I was able to do counter pressure and other helpful soothing techniques that helped my wife have a better birthing experience.
