What to expect

Hello, my name is Dominique Cribb, a birth and placenta encapsulation specialist in the DFW area. I offer birth packages that fit your needs on how you envision your birth. I work in and hand with your family/birthing circle and as your doula, I am here to support, educate, enhance how to advocate, inform, and provide the best birthing experience possible. Each birth package is designed to offer two prenatal visits for us to get to know each other and prepare you for birth and postpartum. You'll receive handouts designed to educate you about what your body is doing, partner support, postpartum preparation and vital resources that will help in your preparation for the arrival of your baby. With continuous care from the moment you book me as your doula; you'll also be gifted a specialized birth preparation bag and once home a postpartum visit with a homemade soup to help as you adjust into parenthood. It is important to remember that it is your body, your birth and your baby and I look forward to being your doula.

Dominique was amazing as my doula fir our first baby! She was extremely informative and open to talk about any and every question I had. My favorite part about her services were the prenatal stretches and birth plan review just to ensure I was in co stroller and aware of my options. Amazing bedside manners, support and knowledge. Dominique was such a great doula, until this day i speak so highly of her and how Im glad I made the decision I did . She helped my birthing process go by with ease the way she help me implement a birthing plan and ways to position myself during the process of bringing a child into this world. It's such an intimate thing but she was trustworthy/loving I really appreciated her even did a post partum visit that was so comforting to me. She made a lasting impression

Do you take insurance?

Please check with your insurance company about doula coverage. Receipts of payment can be sent from me to submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance company for doula coverage if accepted. Payment plans can be arranged to fit financial needs. A sliding scale is taken into consideration per request and qualifying requirements. 2 Scholarships, partial and full, are given once a year to qualifying applicants.

Do you travel?

Yes, I travel from hours away to states. I have serviced births in areas such as, Texarkana and Killeen. As well as: Tampa, Orlando and Lakeland, Florida A travel fee may apply to births over 2hrs away

Do you offer a birth and Placenta Encapsulation package?

Yes I do. There is a birth package available for birthers that want to capsulate their placenta and obtain birth support. There is an automatic discount provided to those that seek this birth package as well.

Do you offer payment plans if I want your support?

Yes, I do offer payment plans that best fit your needs. If by the time our consultation ends and you would love to book my birth support, I will ask you how you would like the payment arrangement to be made. Each payment plan can be customized to suit you whether it is bi-weekly, monthly, etc, Automatic payments can also be set up in your client portal as well. I am here to help in any way I can.

Do you work with those that have a particular budget?

Everyone deserves a doula and I try to assist all those that request my support as a doula. Send a message to me or even during our consultation talk to me about your budget and we can discuss possible options.

Does my package come with anything additional?

You will receive a birth prep bag that consist of: > Loose leaf pregnancy support teas > Yoga mat and yoga block for comfort exercises >Personalized birth affirmation booklet > A birth story blank notebook >During your postpartum visit you will have a postpartum soup cooked in home.
