Hello! I'm Donnette, a certified postpartum and infant care doula, with over 4 years of experience mostly as an overnight nanny. I am of a calm and gentle demeanor, with patience, and an eagerness, and readiness to learn. My goal is to offer a service that specifically meets the needs of my new mom and family. I aim to pass on my extensive knowledge in newborn/infant care to help equip and provide with all the tools and tips needed to be a confident and thriving new mom. I have had the privilege of supporting countless families during the precious and often challenging early days of parenthood. My journey began with a passion for helping new parents find balance and peace during the postpartum period. As a certified postpartum doula and experienced night nanny, I have dedicated myself to providing compassionate, personalized care to newborns and their families. I am competent in skin-to-skin, basic knowledge in lactation, mother-baby bonding, basic sleep training and care for your precious baby. I strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment where parents can feel confident and well-rested. Whether it's soothing a fussy baby, assisting with breastfeeding, or simply offering an extra pair of hands, my goal is to make the transition into parenthood as smooth and joyful as possible. My duties include coming to your home daily and or nightly during the first weeks to months of your baby’s life to assist you in caring for your most precious bundle of joy. Booking Donnette’s postpartum doula services is one of the best decisions we have made as parents to our baby. Donnette is incredibly knowledgeable and has a calm, friendly presence that was simply a pleasure to have in our home. She helped us immensely in the first weeks of our baby’s life with caring for him day and night, answering all of our questions, creating schedules, setting up the many gadgets a baby requires and much, much more. Donnette helped us feel confident in our new role as parents and empowered us to trust our intuition. I must add that she was also so lovely with our rambunctious dog! We enjoyed our time with Donnette so much that we have even asked for some additional hours after her time with us completed.
