My goal with Cherish Doulaship is to serve others the way Jesus Christ has called us to and to bring knowledge and joy back into the birthing space. After experiencing a traumatic birth with my first child, I began to research traumatic birth prevention and educate myself in the birthing process. I didn’t want to birth in fear again. Little did I know this research would propel me into a passionate career as a birth worker. I finished my Birth and Postpartum Doula certifications in 2017 and have continued education by earning a degree in Woman’s Studies with a major in Diversity Studies. As a certified Doula I offer full spectrum care; ranging from childbirth education, bed rest care, pregnancy and birthing comfort measures, breastfeeding education consults, light house work and meal prep, birth processing, and SO MUCH MORE!
