Prenatal lactation consultation for my baby that’s due 11/1/26. Breast feeding was unsuccessful for my first child.

1 month old - During breastfeeding, he feeds off for sometime and then suddenly pulls off and starts crying. Sometimes he is able to latch back but most of the times it's difficult to latch him back on. I do burp him in between but that doesn't seem to help. His pediatrician said it can be the muscles in his jaws that aren't working well or a latch issue. This started happening around Sept 8.

Have Cerebral Palsy, mobile but needs assistance. Can't stand for more than 5 minutes. Plan on giving birth at St. Joseph Rt 183. No vaccines, Christian. Planned C-section need help with house maintenance during recovery.

In person or virtual pumping consultation. I'm not getting good output in the last two days since my 4 month old started daycare and I'm back at work. I've only pumped a couple times since she was born before starting work and was using an old Ameda Mya. It worked well once in my first week post partum when I was engorged. When I used it recently it didn't pump much but I wasn't sure if it was old parts an old pump or that I didn't have much supply between breast feeds. I got a new Medela pump in style pro and have tried with 24, 21, and 18 mm flanges. I can get 2 oz ok on my left breast but on my right I only get 1 oz and need to get at least 2. My nipple on that side isn't very pointy - my areola and nipple make a triangle shape. When I pump it hurts my nipple and turns purple but I feel like my areola is pulled in so I don't know if the flange is too big or too small or it's something else. I was able to pump ~4oz pretty consistently with my first born 2 years ago but I think that was mostly when I was in office using a hospital grade pump and I work from home now.

11 day old not gaining weight as needed. Very slow. May have shallow latch but nipples don’t hurt

I having my first baby. I plan to have an unmedicated, natural birth at Saint Peter's birth center in New Brunswick, NJ. I would love a doula to coach my husband to ensure he is part of the process as well. I would love a doula that brings helpful labor tools (TENS unit, birth ball etc). It would be a bonus if my doula could also photograph the moment.

10 day old who won’t latch and now I’ve developed mastitis from exclusively pumping. I would prefer in person if possible.

I am seeking emotional, physical, and informational support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. I would like guidance with birth preparation, comfort measures during labor, advocacy and communication with my medical team, and support for my partner’s involvement. I am also interested in postpartum support, including recovery, newborn adjustment, and resources to help ensure a positive birth and transition experience.

3 week old with shallow latch and painful feeds. Prefer in home visit.

I would like to find a lactation consultant that’s familiar with twins and is supportive through my EBF journey with my twin girls.

My daughter is an ex-30+5 week preemie, born 4/29. I have done multiple weighted feeds with her pediatrician, who is also an IBCLC, and her milk transfer/weight gain has been reassuring. However, I feel her latch is shallow and she frequently swallows air while nursing. She occasionally pops off during a strong letdown, sometimes cries at the breast, and I can sometimes hear her gulping air into her belly while feeding. We are also currently navigating a potential milk protein allergy. I have been dairy-free since August 5 due to blood and mucus in her stools. I’m looking for an in-home lactation visit to assess her latch, suck/swallow/breathe coordination, milk flow/letdown, and swallowing of air, and to help make breastfeeding more comfortable and efficient for both of us. I’m hoping to use insurance coverage through Aetna.
