We are hoping you can provide us with specific, actionable ways for Shaheen to support me during pregnancy, especially during labor, and during the postpartum period. I hope to labor at home as long as possible, avoid the epidural if possible, and I really would like to avoid a C-section. I am eager to learn about natural birthing techniques and positions that work with my body and gravity. I'd like to first use my insurance benefit if possible. For any out-of-pocket portion, my budget is approximately $4,000 for postpartum support. First-time mother, IVF pregnancy, currently under OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) care due to advanced maternal age (38). Planning a hospital birth. Open to natural birth but following medical guidance. Due date: January 20, 2027. I would especially value postpartum support, as I don't have family nearby.
