About me

I have always been passionate about making sure people feel supported and cared for in various capacities. My job as your doula is to provide holistic and comprehensive doula care that acknowledges the physical, mental, social, and spiritual factors that can impact the birth and postpartum journey. I practice from a person centered perspective where your needs, values, agency, and desires are at the forefront. Whether you're birthing in a hospital or at home, or just need someone to hold your baby so you can take some time for yourself, my job is to help you feel supported and care for in your perinatal journey so you can thrive.

Nurture + Thrive Holistic Doula Care provides perinatal doula services such as birth doula care, childbirth education classes, perinatal doula coaching (you want the perinatal support minus the in person doula support), and postpartum doula care.

Packages

Thriving Birth Package 1 - Perinatal Doula Support

Emotional, physical, spiritual, and educational support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Continuous communication during pregnancy via email/text/phone support during business hours. Referrals to community resources and evidence based information as needed and/or requested. 2 prenatal meetings On call 24/7 beginning two weeks prior to your estimated due date. Continuous in person support at preferred birth location during active labor and birth and up to an hour after birth. 1 postpartum home visits and continuous phone / email / text support for 12 weeks of postpartum

Nurture and Nourish Package - Postpartum Doula Support

Breast/chest feeding support (referral to a lactation consultant if needed) Referrals to community resources and evidence based information as needed and/or requested Caring for your baby so you can rest Light housekeeping Assistance with after-birth healing (emotional and physical support) Organization of supplies and different living spaces Helping with basic newborn care (bathing, feeding, diapering) Support in developing routines and systems Simple meal prepping and planning Accompaniment to appointments, support groups, shopping, etc (subject to doula availability) -------‐----------------------------------------------- Each visit is a minimum of 4 hours at $35 an hour. Clients can schedule their postpartum visits Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings (subject to doula availability). At this moment, I do not provide overnight doula care. This package includes an in home session to discuss postpartum plans and preparation.
