Edoukou was a fantastic prenatal doula. She was backup for my birth doula, who had a planned vacation right before my due date. While she didn't end up needing to be there at the birth (baby came on the due date!), Edoukou attended two prenatal meetings. She was particularly helpful with my birth preferences document--she helped me edit it down and gave me (hugely helpful) tips about how to talk with my providers in advance of the birth. She also helped me plan out my post-partum month, which is a specialty of hers. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I loved having Edoukou as our birth doula! This is our first child and Edoukou was knowledgeable, kind, and made herself available to answer my questions. She came to our appointments with ideas for birthing positions, birth plans, resources for stages of pregnancy, and I was able to meet her "back up" doula. My labor/delivery did not go as planned, so we were really happy to have her support there as well. I'd highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of spending our first few weeks postpartum with Edoukou and it was such a great experience! We quickly felt very comfortable and trusting of her and she made those first few weeks so much easier on us! She helped immensely around the house with food prep, laundry, and chores to help in my overall rest and recovery. She also helped give us rest by looking after our newborn while we napped! I couldn’t recommend her enough.

I never write reviews, but this was my first pregnancy and Edouku was with me throughout it all she really supported me .She allowed me to use her yoga ball to prepare for labor I was able to take it home. She sent me Google Docs that were very helpful that we went over together .She always spoke with me very politely. She was there anytime I needed her. When it came to advocating for my rights at the hospital she truly excelled when they were about to give me Pitocin when I was not ready no one noticed in the room but her and put a stop to it instantly. I was out of it but she stayed up with me, talking to me, comforting me, and even rubbing my back she also captured the moment that I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for her .Edouku is truly the best Doula. If I have another child, I will definitely be returning to her. Thank you so much you don’t understand how much I appreciate you. It’s emotional writing this, My heart melts thinking about the experience I was able to trust her, and she did not break that trust which is very rare in this world Thank you so much for helping bring my son into the world and helping me during post part

I can't recommend Edoukou enough! Her warmth, knowledge, and unwavering support made such a difference in our birthing journey. She provided incredible guidance every step of the way, ensuring I felt empowered and informed. Her ability to create a calm, reassuring environment is truly a gift. She was an amazing person to lean on during labor, advocating for our needs every step of the way! To top it off she was able to capture the most special photos of our baby during birth. Edoukou helped our family so much during the early postpartum days! Since it was our second baby we really needed more support with household type tasks like cleaning bottles, doing the baby's laundry, meal prep and tidying our house after the end of the day. She took direction really well and anticipated our needs. She is a wonderful doula and truly made my postpartum experience the second time around!

Wonderful experience with Edoukou! She is thoughtful, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. She put me at ease and was very good at communicating throughout pregnancy but also great at adjusting to my style of communication, depending on how I was feeling / how often I wanted to check in. Edoukou was a great doula to have by my side during the birth of my first child. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything that I needed tom make my birthing experience memorable.
