SAVE YOURSELF!!! Elizabeth Higgins is a fraud. I would give zero stars…. Elizabeth Higgins is unfit physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Upon the birth of my first child, she arrived at 1am and abandoned me in the evening 7 hours before the birth of my daughter. She never offered any guidance/comfort care, she just stood there making jokes about why she was even there when my husband was ‘doing all the work’ and squeezing my hips every contraction. When he did need a break during a contraction or two, she would step in only to then complain about how it hurts her back to do it and would need him to takeover. She is also a SMOKER (never told me) so any excuse to ‘take a phone call’ or ‘step outside’ (so she could smoke) she did. I didn’t find out about her habit until laboring when she reeked of it. It is so disheartening and disgusting that Elizabeth Higgins would ever claim to be a doula when she doesn’t even have time for it (amongst her four other jobs). She will abandon you, leaving you terrified, traumatized, and alone. I paid this woman $1000 only to betray me during my most vulnerable time. She was never a guide/mentor for me during the birth of my daughter, instead she stole from me. When I was screaming for her late in my labor, she was no where to be found. My midwife later informed me Elizabeth kept asking “how long is this going to take?” DO NOT BY ANY MEANS hire this woman. I do not wish her upon my worst enemy. Oh and if you FaceTime/meet her and she uses the line “you feel like family” OR “I feel like I’ve known you forever”…..that’s her bating you in. Do not allow her in your space! There are so many better providers out there!
