I am a first time mom of of twin boys, i will likely give birth early and I have been told I am high risk. I am also 25 so I am just looking for someone to ease my my mind, educate me and my husband and be my voice at the delivery room. I absolutely cannot be with an anti-vaxxer and anti modern medicine person. We can talk about the budget, I am open to it but I would want anyone potentially interested to not be expecting a big one! We are young parents to twins, there is not a whole lot of wiggle room!! |

Location: Chicago, IL 60629, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: November 25, 2025
I would like to give birth at home or at a birthing center… Outside of Medicaid my budget is around $2,000 Birth Preferences • I prefer to labor in a calm, dimly lit environment with soft music, aromatherapy, and minimal disturbances. • I would like to labor freely in different positions and have access to a birthing tub or shower for comfort. • I prefer to use natural pain management techniques such as breathing exercises, meditation, massage, and hydrotherapy before any medical interventions. • I would like intermittent fetal monitoring rather than continuous, as long as my baby and I are healthy. • I wish to avoid unnecessary cervical checks and prefer gentle encouragement over time constraints. • I would like to allow my body to labor naturally without induction unless medically necessary. Delivery Preferences • I would like to push instinctively rather than on a timed schedule. • I prefer to birth in an upright, hands-and-knees, or squatting position to aid natural delivery. • I would like to avoid an episiotomy unless absolutely necessary. • I would like my baby to be delivered directly onto my chest for immediate skin-to-skin contact. After Birth Preferences • I would like delayed cord clamping until it stops pulsating to allow my baby to receive all beneficial nutrients. • I prefer the placenta to be delivered naturally without medical intervention unless needed. • I would like to keep my placenta for encapsulation or personal use. • I want immediate skin-to-skin contact and early breastfeeding initiation. • I prefer all newborn procedures (weighing, measuring, etc.) to wait until after bonding and breastfeeding have begun. • I prefer to decline routine newborn vaccinations and eye ointment (unless legally required). Emergency Plan • If a hospital transfer is necessary, I request my birth team be included in all decisions. • I prefer to avoid a C-section unless absolutely necessary. • If a C-section is required, I would like a gentle C-section approach with skin-to-skin contact as soon as possible. This birth plan reflects my desire for a natural, holistic birth with minimal intervention. I understand that flexibility may be necessary for my baby’s safety and well-being, and I trust my birth team to support my preferences as much as possible. |
