Our primary search is for post-birth overnight support, which would include support for the mom and care for the baby, including feeding, settling, changing, and any associated cleaning. It is important to us to get detailed updates on how the baby did overnight. We want to make sure that the person providing the support fits well into our home. We would expect we need this support 4-5 nights per week for 10-16 weeks, and would seek to get support on sleep conditioning over that period of time. We are also evaluating if a birth doula is something that we want but have not yet decided on that.
