I am in Akron, OH and in need of Doula here. Preferably someone around my age range and holistic. I am going to need help taking care of my 2 other children and putting them back on sleep schedule. I have a disability and it is very difficult for me. Please be understanding that I cannot put them in daycares. I plan on giving birth at Summa Health in akron.

Plan to give birth in a hospital. Estimated budget is $1000. Birth plan is to deliver vaginally, unmedicated. Preferences on having at least 3 years of experience and fluent in English. Would like if doula had Catholic beliefs, or Christian. Would like to breast feed and help with the return to home transition.

I’m hoping to find someone who can provide compassionate, nonjudgmental support as I adjust to motherhood and recover after birth. I’m especially interested in help with newborn care, breastfeeding/feeding support, soothing and settling the baby, light postpartum household support, and emotional reassurance during those first weeks. I would also appreciate someone who can help me feel confident caring for my baby rather than making me feel judged or overwhelmed. Having someone who is patient, warm, respectful of my boundaries, and comfortable working with my support system is very important to me. First baby and wanting to do a unmedicated birth, as natural as possible. I have insurance that should cover most doulas I think . I don’t exactly know what I am looking for cause I’ve never done either before, really just need support with doing a unmediated birth

I medicated hospital birth at Fairview Cleveland Clinic 5,000

Birth plan is hopefully unmedicated, natural birth. I am having twins and already am hearing from doctors and family members that "It's too much, just do a C-section" I don't want to have a C-section and I want to avoid an epidural if possible. I don't have really much in the list category yet but that's my main goal. And hopefully minimal tearing if there's tricks to prevent that. No routine episiotomy. Not sure on a budget, not sure how much a doula or a midwife would cost. I plan to give birth at Akron General, but nothing set in stone.

I just want to be home, in my own environment to be able to give birth to my baby. I am a nurse but I am not well versed in the complications that can come with pregnancy and delivery. I would like to talk over the phone about typical birth and what to do if something happens. This is my first baby, again I do not know much.

Hello, My name is Eloise; I'm 32 years old from Ohio. I'm a 2x surrogate with a total of 4 pregnancies. Deliveries are as followed 02/14/2016 emergency c-section stopped dilating at 4cm water was broke for over 24 hours resulting in me needing a c section come to find out the cord was wrapped around my daughter's neck. 08/17/2017 c section due to being over due to being a week overdue and still not dilated or thinning with my 2nd daughter 04/12/2021 planned c section because he was a surrogate baby and i didnt know i had an option to try vbac. I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant with surrogate baby and would really like to try for a vbac or even a at home/water birth but I'm struggling with finding a medical professional that supports my decision after having 3 previous c sections. I don't mind traveling to meet with a new doctor if there's a chance my wishes can be honored. My intended parents support my decision and are willing to help in any way possible to achieve this. I feel like in the past I wasn't heard or listened to. Ive never had a doula before, and my intended mom suggested it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
