I am very new at this doula thing but I am pregnant with my 4th child. I will be delivering at a hospital only because I find it a little safer for my situation. I am HIV positive which makes me a high risk pregnancy.

I plan to give birth at OSF hospital in Evergreen Park, IL. I would like to discuss a birth plan and have a doula present at my delivery for education and support. My goal is to have an unmediated, natural birth. My budget is under $1,000.

1) Central DuPage HospitaL 2) I would like to spend no more than $1,000 for a birth doula. May consider other services as well 3) VBAC, avoid c-section (very traumatic), open to all pain relief options but want epidural to be the last resort, open to medical interventions if other suggestions (walking, taking a shower, peanut ball, or different laboring positions) don't work

Plan to give birth in a hospital due to no local birth center. I am unaware how much a doula cost. I want to do fully unmedicated if possible! I am 27 my boyfriend is 30. I am hoping to be able to build a connection to ask questions and learn about my body during and after pregnancy.

We need a Midwife to follow the end of the pregnancy at home making sure we go to the Hospital at the right time avoiding unnecessary interventions. Also, a Doula to support during the labor. We live in Crystal Lake and the Delivery is planned to be at the NorthWestern Lake Forest Hospital. My wife is 40 (41 in August 17th) Fist baby was born in Brazil through a C-Section due to low baby hart rate at 39 weeks and 6 days. (below 70beats/min). Fist baby also was Britch. first and last baby born 5 years ago on August 4th 2021. Even 41 years she is doing great. She is healthy and still working out about 3 times a week at Orange Theory. After birth a Lactant consultant that can apply the laser treatment would be interesting, it was very helpful with the first baby.

I would like a doula who respects my birth preferences, communicates well with my medical team, and also supports my partner or family members during labor. I want someone who creates a positive, peaceful environment and helps me feel informed and empowered throughout the entire process. Postpartum support and breastfeeding guidance would also be appreciated if available. * I’m hoping for an unmedicated birth, or I’d like support even if I choose an epidural or need a C-section.
