a first-time mom-to-be in Newcastle, WA 98059, due May 11, 2027. I'm looking for overnight newborn care — 3 nights/week, 4–8 hour shifts, for about 8 weeks after birth.
We plan on giving birth at true north birthing center in Poulsbo. Budget is between $1000-1500 (if it’s a one time fee). Plan currently is to go home almost immediately after birth and get settled. We have a 14 month old who will be 16 months by the new baby’s birth, and dad will be home on leave to take care of him so he’ll just need the extra support from a doula to take care of me for the first two weeks. She has necessary midwife certifications with 2+ years of experience. Only needs to be fluent in English. I’m 26 and a stay at home mom. No special needs just basically need the additional emotional and physical support that comes along with a new baby! Only additional responsibilities to taking care of myself and the new baby is helping my fiancé with house tidiness if he’s completely overwhelmed

Looking for overnight care for 1 newborn. 3-5 nights per week. Infant/child CPR certified. Non-smoker. Reliable. Well-connected in their field and to other helpful resources (ie: lactation specialists, etc). Self-starter; someone who can keep themselves occupied or being helpful with tasks. Sleep training experience is ideal. Cleanliness. Passionate about the field and caring for newborns. Budget is open for discussion based on experience.
