My name is Fable Rodgers-Kurilenko and i've been a practicing Postpartum Doula(and occasional Birth Doula) for nearly two years after a long history with Nannying and being a Daycare teacher. I became a Doula because I longed to become more connected to families and mothers but within the Daycare setting due to conflicts of interest, was un able to do so. I had been interested in doula work since my early teens. My mother even bought me birth books in high school! That's when I left the daycare setting (returning to nannying for a time while I was in school) and got my doula certification. Later that year I began practicing first in births, then I found that my true love was postpartum. Now I am a mother myself as of last year and can truly understand the importance of postpartum care. My husband and I could not have survived the newborn stage without the help of family, friends (and a doula) and it is such a joy getting to support Mothers and Fathers through the most vulnerable time is their lives.

I offer both birth and postpartum support however my birth availability is limited. I only take on a few births a year because I do full spectrum care and have regular overnight postpartum clients. typically I offer (1-3 sessions) virtual support in early pregnancy followed by 1-3 sessions for birth leading up to birth support as well as one follow up virtual or in person session. For postpartum I will first meet with a family virtually to discuss their needs and then i contract out 6-8 weeks at a time through Doulado.com. The hours I offer are usually 8-10 hours a night. families typically want 9pm-5am or 10pm-6am.
